'Ok, here it comes Pete, you got this one in the bag.'  The black haired man constantly repeated over and over in his mind. He and the rest of the band were about to finish up a show, but, there was a slight "intermission" soon to arrive. During this time Pete wanted to do something very important to him. He had a plan to propose to Patrick, his boyfriend, after the song "Miss Missing You." Since Fall Out Boy was playing in Chicago today Pete thought this was a pretty good time to do so.
As Pete took a step away from his thoughts he realized that Patrick began to sing the last chorus of the song. Oh, how his lovely voice rung in the older man's ears, from Patrick's "Now and then"s to his beautiful deep sung "Baby, you were my picket fence, I miss missing you now and then." And... There it was, the end. Pete blew out a long, hot sigh and walked towards his own mic. 'How am I going to put this? What am I going to say?' He let his thoughts be drowned out by his voice, echoing through the crowd.

"Before we play the last few songs I decided to give this important message." Pete could feel every eye on him now, including Joe, Andy's and Patrick's. "Patrick, you are a beautiful, talented, and loveable little man...and a couple of years ago I made the decision to give you my heart and make you my boyfriend. Now, I would like to move forward with your hand in mine, and I ask of you this one question..."
Pete walked over to where the adorable boy stood, pulling out a small box from his back pocket. He kelt down on one knee and watched as the fedora wearing boy covered his mouth in aw with his hands. "Patrick, will you... marry me?" Pete opened the small black box revealing a beautiful silver ring, and he watched as Patrick began to sob and call out "YES!"

Pete smiled and stood up, just to be tackled into a large hug by his fiancé. "Pete I love you!" The smaller boy's voice was muffled by Pete's shoulder. Pete could feel Patrick's tears through his T-shirt and his eyes began to water as well replying to him.

"I love you too Patrick."
