Gaz looked at the ball. She threw it at Dib hitting the back of his head, the ball broke open as Gaz shuts the door going back down stairs to read. Soon after she left the fire alarms are going off in the house, Dib was couching his lungs out as he rolled down the stairs, gripping his throbbing throat. Gaz glanced down at the choking Dib and threw her glass of water at him.
"Shut up, I am trying to concentrate." she continued playing her game slave.
Dib crawled over to the door and banged on his not being able to breath. His throat swollen, not allowing his hair to make it into his lungs. His time was ticking an he could feel the death creeping onto him. What was in that gas that Gaz threw at him.
Gaz sighed. "If I help you will you leave me alone?" She asked setting her game slave on the couch. She grabbed her cup off the floor and filled it with hot water. She pored the scolding water onto his throbbing swollen throat. His throat admittedly went back to normal. Dib screamed, grabbing his neck, Finally about to breath. He gasped several times.
"Gaz were you trying to kill me?" Dib yelled looking down at his shorter sister. She turned away from him and sat back on the couch picking up her game slave.
"It wasn't me, I was just the delivery girl." She said and went back to intensely playing her game. Anything else that Dib tried to say to her she ignored.
Dib new exactly who did this, and he wasn't getting away with it. Zim had become alot like his old self in the past week, trying to distroy Dib and the earth, always failing. If Dib didn't have Gaz, then he wouldn't have survived that last one. He marched down the street to the the strange looking house. He banged on the door.
"ZIM I KNOW YOUR IN THERE!" He yelled. Gir came to the door greeting Dib as he always did. Gir let Dib inside. "Do you know Zim is?" Dib asked not really expecting an answer from Gir.
"OH he's in the kitchen." Gir pulled Dib into the Kitchen area of the house, Zim was sitting at the table writing down something.
He looked up as he heard Dib and Gir walk into the Kitchen. Zim stood up quickly and glared at Dib. "How did you survive my poison gas." he growled out. Did the Gaz-human not deliver it to Dib? he would have to make her pay later, as of now he needed to deal with the stinky human in front of him.
Dib ignored Zim's question and stepped forward. "You said you had changed." he laughed. "You said you would succeed, and I believed you but now I know that you didn't change at all, you just act tougher. But your just the same!" Dib's voice began to raise. "Your the same failure you were when you left, I bet after they saw you were still useless after going through their best training, they sent you back here to fail again." He stepped forward again. "your just a-"
Dib was cut off by a hand around his neck pushing him against the wall. "You only speak LIES!" Zim yelled, he was obviously worked up about this though he would never admit it. He let his tight grip loose on Dib's neck. He growled. "Gir get him out of here." He said before jumping into the blue trash can, having himself lowered into hims main lab.
Gir showed Dib to the door. "Bye Marrrrry!!!" He said pushing Dib down the side walk and waving at him goodbye,
Zim punched the wall cursing at himself. "Why cant I beat him." He said and walked up to him main monitor, He called his Tallest. He waited for them to pick up. He couldn't keep going with out asking them if he really was a failure.
"Zim! How goes taking over the earth?" The Tallest Red spoke moving closer to the monitor. Tallest purple wasn't in the camera range. "Good I take it?" He smirked.
Purple moved on screen and smiled. "Ah Zim Hello." They seemed so much more friendlier then when he would call before.
"Yes, yes it goes great as you assumed." He nodded as Gir climbed up on Zim's head. "But my Tallest, i must ask a question?" He said slowly letting each word drag out of his mouth dripping off his lips slowly like honey. The simply nodded awaiting Zim's question. He took a long paused then sharply breathed in. "Why did you send me back to earth?"
The Tallest had puzzled looks on their face. "Because we knew that this time you would be able to take control of it." Red said as if it was obvious.
"But why earth why couldn't you have sent me to Blach, or Malic?" Zim asked speaking of closer and worse planet's then Earth. There was a very long silence before The Red Tallest spoke again.
"Because Earth is Different Zim." He lied. "The human's are almost as intelligent as us." He nodded and purple piped in.
"So we had to send out top inva-" Purple began.
"Stop." Zim said lowly. "Just stop lying to me." His voice became a growl. "I went though the same training you did when you were trained to be a Tallest! I am trained to be a Tallest amd I am only a few inches shorter then you now. " He looked up at the two tall Irkans. His eyes almost seemed like they glowed red. "I am good enough!" He yelled. "I can take over Earth and prove it to you!" He said turning the screen off and ending the call. He slid down the wall looking up at the black screen. "I thought I was better then this.
Gir sadly walks over to his master, handing him a small stuffed pig. "Here Master, this'll make you feel better. " He placed the pig by Zim and ran off screaming.
Zim looked at the small pig but didn't touch it, he just stared at it thinking for awhile.
