Introduction to Seigrune

Consisting of five planets, The Seigrune Universe bore various kinds of species. Human beings, making up the majority species, originated from the planets Aesthia, Venoria, Xeria, Megaia and Izama, while elves and aquas reside in Faelyn. Every planet strode in different timelines.

Izama was the most advanced of all, since science came along. The Izamii pushed away all beliefs of magic, and proclaim that Destruction’s return was just mythological and believing that life on Seigrune was eternal. Suffering from global warming, the Izamii continue to cut down their trees, extract petroleum from the deepest layers of the ground, just to fill in their pockets with pieces of green paper and gold.

The Megaians deny any ties with other human beings. They despise all—and every kind other than themselves. While the Izamii say the Megaians live in ‘poverty’, the Megaians are content with their lifestyle without electricity and modern technology. They would rather enhance their lives through the way of the sword, than to sit back in cubicles, living sad and empty lives without being one with nature, without enjoying its sights and sounds.

Half a century ago, the people of Venoria were split into two. What once was a planet with only two continents then became three. The magus (Xeri) used their abilities to create a new continent by summoning the earth from below the sea and cut ties with the Venorians for good. To the people of Seigrune, Venoria and Xeria were two different planets, even though it actually wasn’t. The Venorians looked upon their monarchs. Each country would have their own, but even the monarchs look upon to one man whom they call the “Kaiser”, also known as the Emperor. The Kaiser had unified the Venorians who were due to enter a great war. Unfortunately, the Kaiser passed not long ago.

Aesthia was the only planet that sheltered every species. Outsiders would come to Aesthia to start a new life, without racism or any sort. The Aesthii welcome anyone with open arms, give them shelter and food. But Aesthia was now a wasteland. A land which was once the symbol of unity amongst the people of Seigrune, was bombarded by a huge ray of light that demolished everything it touched. The people of Seigrune believed it was Destruction’s ‘gift’ to them; a message to tell that he’s coming and soon.

Faelyn was the origin planet of elves, faeries and aquas. Not too long ago, the people of Faelyn shut its doors to the outside world. This was because humans (notably the Izamii) hunted the faeries down to extinction. To avoid the same incident from occurring, Faelyn was now inaccessible, and secluded from the other planets of Seigrune.

CHAPTER ONE : HEROES

YEAR 0058

Planet Venoria

Deep within the heart of an enchanting castle, past the fleet of guards; a teen whose skin was so pale-white, but shined with radiance and short steaming blond hair ran around with a piece of paper in hand. Her dress danced around her as she ran around the castle. Finding her destination was inevitable — though the target had mobility powers. Door after door, she burst in, but all rooms lead to a dead end. And that's when she found herself in the finest quarters of the castle — Private Quarters. No guards, no assassins. She burst into one of the Royal bedrooms without knocking or addressing herself.

"Your Highness! There's an emergency in the drawing room! Stat!" she exclaimed.

As her voice echoed around the room and hallway. The Princess ungracefully woke up from sleep. She was dressed lightly in a nightgown with long, uncombed, brown hair and light blue eyes. She was obviously under slept with bags under her eyes.
