"can ya'll please stop yelling back there and tiara stop making fun of nick" i yelled as we all sat cooped up in my truck as we drove down to the valley
"it's not my fault his big ass over here running from bugs and shit" she said laughing as nick rolled his eyes
"i don't mess with no bugs like that" he said as she bursted out into laughter
i laughed looking at them in the rear view as i drove with brandon in the passenger seat who was across fully into his laptop and whatever song he was producing.
"what are you working on over there?" i asked as he smiled
"anita anita" he mumbled the song as i smiled
"that shit about to be fyeeee" zion yelled as tamara woke up and hit him in his chest
"no deadass it is especially with that hit it from the back to the morning line ya'll fans about to go crazy" tatiana said as i looked at brandon before looking back at road
"of course i was talking about you babe" he said as he leaned over and kissed my cheek
"mhm it sounds good" i said as he laughed
"can ya'll turn on the radio please i need to hear anything but tiara and nick" austin groaned as i looked at the bickering couple
i turned on the radio loud enough for everyone to hear and enjoy the next hour of this ride, "we have ariana in the building debuting her new album and for the next hour she will play some of her favorites with me" the radio host said
"yes most definitely i have this artist she's so good and so talented and helped me co write some of favorite songs on my album i just mailed her ass a ring she better get it" ariana said as the host laughed
"damn she's that good huh?" the other host asked ariana
"yes and with that here is kailani joy with show love" she said as everyone froze into place
"did they just say kailani joy?" tatiana said as brandon closed his laptop and turned up the music
my voice flowed out the stereo as everyone screamed, i pulled over the car in the middle of the desert trying to gain control of my emotions as everyone jumped out.
"that's my mother fucking bestfriend on the radio!" zion said yelled as he recorded me
i held my mouth in shock as my song played on the radio and by ariana at that, i couldn't believe it.
brandon pulled me into his arms dancing with me to the song that was written by him until it went off, "oh my god my song just played on the radio" i yelled as i sat in the seat while everyone cooled down
"woah i'm blown away that song was so good, what song is credited for?" the host ask as me and tatiana held each other
"her and tati hey bitch um they're credited for in my head, needy, and ghostin some of my favorites on the album you know because it's not just my story it's theirs too and they definitely bought their a game i'm looking forward to ag6 with them" she said as we squealed in our seats
"damn well be on the look out for the next big thing kailani joy" the host said before he cut to commercials
"i'm so proud of you babe" brandon said as he kissed me
"thank you" i said as he furrowed his eyebrows
"for being my muse and giving me the courage to put the thoughts in my head on paper" i said as he smiled and kissed my forehead
"i love you kai" he said as he held my hand

as we sat there while my friends enjoyed my song being in played on the radio i realized this wasn't all in my head, this was just love and love was never easy but i'm glad i stuck it through.
just to see my imagination in my head come to life.
