You were not extremely new to Tulsa, Oklahoma, but you did just move there 6 months ago. A friendly teen as you are made it easier to make friends with all your new peers. The social status you had was an added bonus because you were not a soc nor a greaser, but instead somewhere in between which made you capable of being friends with both sides. Although, you preferred hanging out with the socs because you had never gotten in trouble with them and they seemed like classy folks.

Lately you had been walking by a local gas station/car fixing place called the DX. Every time you walked by a handsome, tall, lean young man had caught your eyes. You assumed he was older then you so you were scared he would make fun of you and reject you coldly if you asked him out or talked to him.

But, today you felt different and had gotten the nerves that once got a hod of you and decided to go try and talk to him since he was working at the front desk.Pushing the rickty door open you made yourself to the the snack display and chose a bag of sea salt potatoe chips and a water from the cooler.

"Is this all you need young broad" said the hot dude who must have been named Steve because his name tag had said so.

"Yes, thank you SEXY"you said on accident being to focused on your inner thoughts about him.

Before you could say another word he cut you off with "What did you say Doll?"

With pure confidence you replied with " I think you are hot and I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date?"

"Sure baby girl my names Steve how about yours" he said flirtiously.

"Y/N,Y/LN" you responded sweetly.

All the way down the hallway you could hear his best friend with a name tag that said Sodapop on it yell "Way to go Stevie boy looks like you got yourself a date with that hottie Y/N on Friday at 6"

Your day couldn't have gotten anymore perfect you smiled ear to ear all the way home excited for the date with the man of your dreams a seventeen year old. You couldn't wait to tell all your 14 year old friends like yourself.
