I walked through the door with Jake. The air was getting cold. It was funny how normal this felt. Jake made me feel better about things. I took of my scarf and greeted his sister.

"Hey, Taylor." she smiled. I grinned her way. She was much like her brother, kind. Jake took my scarf and asked me if he could put it away for me.

"Yeah," I said "but don't let me foget it." I joked. We had a great time at Maggie's house, she had made tacos for lunch and we gobbled them down as we talked. As we got ready to leave, I hugged Maggie and thanked her for the food and great time. I walked out the door, staring at the trees. Autumn is such a beautiful season, it's so inspiring and colorful.

The autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place. I wrote down on my notes. "I'll use that for later" I whispered to myself. As Jake said goodbye to Maggie, I walked to the passenger seat door. Before I could open it, though, he rushed to me.

"No, no,no." he laughed. I looked up from my phone, he was smiling sluggishly. "Madame." He said, opening the door for me. I laughed. So sweet.

"Thanks, monsieur." I giggled as I got in. He quickly ran to the other door and got in.

"Where to?" He asked, I looked at him, wide eyed.

"I have no idea." I laughed. We had only planed to meet his sister, and we both didn't know that we were going to be free the rest of the day. "Let's just drive!" I said boldly. I knew we were going to get lost, but instead of worrying, I cranked up the music and we yelled the words.

"NO I WON'T HESITATE NO MORE NO MORE!!" We yelled in unision. We lost track of time.

Soon enough, we reached a small town. The windows were rolled down and the wind blew in my face and hair, we laughed and just had a great time. Jake was looking over me when I noticed the stop light turn red. "JAKE!" I yelled over the music. He skidded to a stop and turned the music down. I stared at him and he did the same to me. We burst out laughing.

"Let's go to my mom's house," he said between fits of laughter. "she lives about an hour away."

I grinned his way. "Sure!"
