"Hi sister." Alec says looking over my head. We were waiting to feed so we'd be ready for our flight.

"What did Aro need you for this time?" I said, thinking he was about to make something up.

"I don't think I'm supposed to tell." he said.

"Tell me." I ordered.

"He promoted me." Alec said. I narrowed my eyes.

"Promoted you to what?" I asked.

"Your keeper, and Aro's heir."

"Really?" I asked suspiciously. He rolled his eyes.

"If you weren't going to believe me, why'd you even bother asking?" Now I rolled my eyes.

"Well is that all he said?" His eyes darted to the other side of the room before answering.

"Yes." he said looking back at me.

"I don't believe you." I stated. Aro came in then, and Alec visibly sighed of relief.
