Eternal Destiny {Completed}

¤*Chapter 1*¤

I press myself to laugh at everything, for fear of being obliged to weep.

All she dreamt of was to have a family who respects her, loves her and cares for her. But dreams are dreams, some are bound to be fulfilled and some are bound to be broken. After all she is a girl, and girls are supposed to be in the men feet, right?

Today was her final examination day and she was all prepared for it. And in two weeks time, she will be graduating from her Tertiary education system.

¤*Ashi's P.O.V*¤

I woke up in the morning feeling excited and happy, finally I'll be graduating! Yeah! 🙌🙌

I got up and quickly ran to the bathroom and took a short but refreshing shower. I wore a simple brown coloured top and black skirt.

I made my way to the breakfast table.

"Good morning baba!" I was in a happy mood today.

"Good morning, bhaiya!" I sat down on my chair and started with my breakfast.

"When is your graduation?" asked baba without even looking at me.

"Uhh.. Baba that will be finalised by tomorrow afternoon and it will be messaged to us." I said gulping hard. Bhaiya shot a look at me.

"I'll drop you to the college today" said bhaiya, getting up from his chair.

"It's OK, bhaiya, I'll go by myself..." I kept quiet when he looked at me.

"I said I'll drop you nah? Come!" I got up and followed him to car.
Throughout the road we were quiet, my brother and I don't talk much, he has been really mean and rude at times but I survived all those years of torturing.

"Vinayak told me that you were talking to a boy on the campus?" his tone was deep.

"He was my new lecturer and mentor, bhaiya." I tried to sound normal. I was sweating.

"Hmm..make sure that you stay in your limits or else you know what will I do with that guy he will face the same consequences as Raj." in hearing Raj's name, my soul shivered. He was just a study mate but bhaiya took it otherwise and he was killed very brutally. And from that day on, no boy on the campus dares to talk to me until an unless I am teamed up with some of them.

He stopped in front of the campus. I got off but he stopped me.

"Ashi!" I turned around to face him.

"Remember what I told you and I'll pick you after you finish your exam." and with those words he drove out. I stood there staring at him leaving the campus.

¤*flashback *¤
"Ashi! Ashi!" Raj called me.

"Yes, what happened." I asked, smiling at him.

"I wanted to tell you something" he looked happy and nervous at the same time.

"What is it, say nah!" I pestered him. He gave me a red rose.

"Happy valentines day!" he smiled and before I could accept it, someone hit him with a rod on his head. I screamed in horror. He fell on the ground, and behind him stood Bhaiya and his goons. Raj was covered in blood.

"You will propose my sister, uh!" he hit him with the rod again.

I looked in horror and froze at my place. Raj... Raj died in front of me, in front of my eyes and I didn't do anything to save him.

"Listen each and everyone of you boys, if you dare to look at my sister, this will be your fate as well, stay away from her!!!" he left the campus and from that day on, I was never sent to college alone, I had two to three bodyguards with me.
