Namjoon let out a sigh as he got home. Lately, his husband Kim Seokjin had been busy with work and heading to the office. Leaving his husband alone and neglected. He rushed upstairs to change into his fluffy pajamas, jogging back downstairs. He walked into the kitchen, He got out a tub of cookie dough ice cream and moved to the cabinets, Grabbing a spoon, and a bottle of wine.

This wasn't new to Namjoon at all. Coming home to an empty house, being all alone, he missed his husband, a lot. He sat down on the couch and turn on the tv. Shoving the spoon into his mouth as his eyes focused blankly on the screen in front of him.

5 minutes passed and all of the sudden he couldn't take it anymore, chucking the spoon forward and sobbing into his own arms. He just wanted his husband, he just wanted his Jinnie to finally come home and give him a hug, sprinkle his face in kisses. But that didn't happen. Not until it was 2:30 did Kim Seokjin come home, and Namjoon was fast asleep, but the man left just as quickly before the sun had risen, not getting the chance to greet his husband.

The same routine repeated for the next 4 days until Namjoon woke up on the fifth day and finally got out of the house. Namjoon made rice with a vegetable dish, packing it into a bag, placing a pink sticky note with a smiley face and his name on it, as he stepped out of the house. He got in his car that he barely used and drove straight to Jin's work.

The lady at the front desk recognizing him as she buzzed him in. And so, Kim Namjoon walked into the elevator, pressed the button for the sixth floor, and stood in the empty room, the bag clutched in his hand. But it wasn't until Namjoon was standing in front of his husband's office with his hand raised, about to knock, that he dropped his hand and walked away, down the stairs instead as he threw the meal he had prepared into the trash can and ripped up the small piece of pink paper.

Nothing bad had happened that made Namjoon leave, he just didn't want to bother his hard-working husband. Instead of going back home, Namjoon parked his car somewhere else and stepped on to the street. He walked around town, stopping at stores, glancing at a few clothing items that caught his eye, but not actually buying them.

On his way back t his car, Namjoon spotted an ice-cream shop that he hadn't noticed on the way there. Stepping into the cute parlor as he stepped in line. He ordered a plain vanilla cone, holding it in his hand as he walked out of the store. But then he spotted a couple, happily sharing a treat as they joked around with each other, his hand dropped the cone, it landing in the trash can, as his face was now blank, his appetite gone.

When Namjoon got home he ran into his room and cried as he held the sheets close to him, slowly luring himself to sleep.

Two days after

Tonight, Namjoon cooked again, making Jin's favorite meal and baking some brownies, he set it out on a plate and put it on the table, he left a note saying if the food was cold he could heat it up and that he left dessert in the fridge. When Jin had come home that night, he had been too sleepy to notice that the lights were on in the kitchen and that there was a meal placed on the table.

Namjoon woke up around lunch time, walking downstairs to find himself completely heart-broken (I'm sorry, *In jin's voice* "Heartbreaker") to see the meal untouched and the brownies still in the fridge. He had sat at the table, looking the meal dead in the eyes as he stared at it all day. He had nothing better to do in his life. It was nearing 11:30 that Namjoon finally snapped out of it, he rummaged through the cabinets and pulled out a few containers. He packed the food along with the brownies and left the house.

Namjoon felt too exhausted to go through the work of driving his car, so he let his feet guide him as he walked through the rainy streets. He could vaguely see the local food pantry in the distance, his weak hands barely holding the bag as it only seemed to get colder and darker. All of a sudden he heard a car skid to a stop next to him, the window rolled down, "Joonie? Is that you?" he heard the voice of his husband say, but he was too sad to even look up,

"Yeah" he could hear Jin sigh

"What are you doing out this late, your usually home and asleep" He questioned, Namjoon lifted up the bag, still not making eye contact

"I-I was gonna drop this off at the food center" he softly whispered out.

"Why didn't you take your car? Get in I'll drive you" And it was at that moment that Namjoon finally lifted his head, looking at the man he fell in love with, as he whispered out a small okay as he walked towards the car and gently sat himself down in the passenger seat.

"I didn't know that you cooked during your free time," Jin said trying to make conversation with his husband, who knew being married would be so awkward.

"I-I left it out on the table for you last night, I thought you didn't want it" Were the words that shakily left Namjoon's mouth,

"Oh," he heard Jin say "I'm sorry Joonie, I wasn't really paying attention when I got home," He said, his hand on the steering wheel.

"It's okay," Namjoon said hearing how broken his own voice was, but when Jin heard those words, his eyes practically teared up as he turned to look at his neglected husband, how could one have such a kind heart? He hadn't spoken to him in a month and here he was, giving people food, forgiving his husband so easily. That was when Jin lost it, slamming his foot down on the breaks as he leaned over to look at his startled husband.

"I love you," He said before pressing a chaste kiss to his lips, Namjoon quickly responding back, the kiss wasn't filled with lust, it was filled with love, forgiveness, all of the feelings Namjoon had kept bottled up in him for the past few weeks.

They pulled away, and the sound of soft sobs was heard, Namjoon crying into his hands, "I missed you Jinnie, a lot" Namjoon finally spoke at a normal volume. And they were at it again, Jin hugging Namjoon close as the others tear's stained his shoulder, Jin whispering into his ear. They pulled away again, but Namjoon still clutched onto Jin's hand, Jin holding his back as he drove up to the building.

"I'll be right back Joonie," Jin said softly, pressing a kiss to his hand as he grabbed the bag and walked up to the door, dropping off the food as he ran back to the car, getting soaked from the rain. Namjoon quietly giggled as he saw how messy Jin's hair had got and how funny he looked. "Are you making fun of me?" Jin teasingly asked back as he took his hand back into his. A mischevious smile formed on Jin's face, "I guess I'll just have to hug my adorable husband" Jin said, leaning over and wrapping his arms around Namjoon. Namjoon squealing as he got soaked as well, "Jinnie! You got me all wet!"
