Another day has come...and it is currently the first day of high school for the young freshman, Joseph Cupquake. Awaking from his deep sleep, Joseph jumps out of bed in excitement, rushing to his closet to pick out what he shall wear on his first day. As much as he was excited, he was just as nervous. After finding the perfect outfit, he gets his backpack together, skipping downstairs into the kitchen. "Sup little bro, excited for your first day," Alex, Joseph's older sister, questioned him. "Yeah! But I am still very nervous," He answers in return. Joseph talks with Alex for a while longer before leaving out of the front door to school.
Joseph approaches Riverside High School, not as nervous as he thought he ought to be. Still admiring the spectacular beauty of the building, he hadn't realized the two people in front of him, chatting. Joseph bumps into a taller guy, causing him to pivot on his heels, facing downwards at Joseph. Joseph admired his features as he stared back up at him. The guy was a mei'fwa who had raven black hair, fierce red eyes, eggshell skin, a sharp jawline, and a spider bite piercing along with a nose ring. "Hey nerd! Pay attention to where you're going," He snapped at Joseph. Joseph gulped in fear and took a step back. "I-I'm so s-sorry, I-I p-promise I w-will," Joseph says, still in fear. "Good, now scram loser," is the last thing that was said before Joseph quickly scurried into the school.
The day has gone by pretty fast so far, as it is currently lunch time. Joseph still hadn't made any friends, as he never had time to talk to anyone since he was trying to avoid the guy he encountered that morning. Every corner Joseph would turn down, he'd see the guy; he was almost late to class a couple of times because of this reason. It wouldn't seem to matter anyways as he has almost every class with him. Joseph was walking to his locker, only to see the same mei'fwa guy digging in the locker next to his. 'Are you serious..? Why does it have to be him of all people,' Joseph thought to himself. Joseph keeps his head low as he walks over to his locker, opening it, and setting his things inside. Once he takes a step back away from his locker, the locker slams shut, causing Joseph to jump. "You seriously thought I wouldn't notice you? I've seen you avoiding me all day; you would walk down a hall, look at me, then turn away to try and find another route to class. I see that as completely pointless as we have most classes together," the mei'fwa explains, leaning against Joseph's locker. Joseph is slightly looking at him, as he didn't want to seem rude and have the guy think he is ignoring him. "You seem too quiet and fun to play around with. Come on, you're skipping school with me," He says, causing Joseph to gasp and give the guy his full attention. "I-I can't d-do that... it's against t-the rules," Joseph says quietly. "Do you think I care," the guy questions, raising his voice a little. "Roko, leave him alone," a female voice said, walking up to the two. Roko groans and crosses his arms, "I don't care what the fuck you say." "Roko, don't make me pull your ear and drag you to the principal," She threatens. Joseph looks over at the girl, seeing who it was. It was a girl with blonde hair, dark blue eyes, and a slight toned peach skin color. Roko hisses, "Fine! I'll leave him alone...for now," walking off to the cafeteria. "Are you okay," the girl questions Joseph. Joseph nods, "Y-Yeah, thanks.." The girl smiles and replies, "No problem, just be careful around Roko. He's the baddest student here, yet the most popular. Most people are scared of him, aside from some people, like myself. Anyways, what's your name?" "J-Joseph..w-what about you," Joseph kindly asks. "I'm Ally, it's nice to meet you. Would you like to eat lunch with me and a couple of my friends?" Joseph smiles at her request, "S-sure, why not."
After a whiles worth of walking, Ally had brought Joseph to a table that sat two other girls. One girl had light brown hair with green eyes and pale skin. The other had purple hair with pink eyes and dark skin. Joseph and Ally took a seat; Ally then introduces Joseph and her friends to each other. The four enjoyed their lunch period talking and laughing away.
