After leaving the meeting, Demi ran a few errands, then went home to pick up her mom so that they could have lunch together before it was time to pick up Aubrey from school.

"So, how'd your meeting go?" Jen inquires after they get settled at the table.

"It went well. I'm going to take it, right after I get the NDA looked over."

"An NDA for what?"

"The man wants to protect his brand and his business. We don't know each other, we haven't built trust. It makes sense. Everyone on the payroll signs one."

"...and the money's good?"

"Well, it's not the million I was bringing in from high-profiled athletes and Fortune 500 companies, but it'll do. Besides, I have more than enough to take a pay cut, hell, I really don't have to work anymore, but I'd lose my mind if I became a stay at home mom."

"Oh I know, but I'm glad you won't have to travel and be here for your daughter more."

"God, you make sound like a bad mother."

"No, just a very busy one."

"I'm only trying to give her a good life mom, that's all."

Jen maintaining her composure. "I understand..."

"Look, can we change the subject." Demi snapped, then proceeds to glance over her menu. She didn't mean to come off that way, but she didn't take jabs at her parenting skills very lightly. "See anything that looks good?" Demi asks.

"This very over priced salad sounds amazing."

Demi glances over at the different salad options. "Verrrrrryyyyy over priced." She agrees and they both laugh.

Demi had pretty much made her decision the day she had the meeting with Wilmer. She just knew that any types of contracts could be tricky and once the dotted line was signed, there was no going back. The following week, she had made her way back to the club to accept the job offer.

"I'm here for a meeting with Wilmer." She says to one of the guys on the security staff.

"Your name?"

"Demi."

He pulls out his phone to make a quick call. "Take the staircase upstairs to the left, and his office is on the right. He just finished a meeting."

"Thank you." She makes her way upstairs and as she was walking up, Wilmer was escorting a man and a women out of his office.

"I look forward to speaking with you soon." She overheard Wilmer tell them. "I hope you being back here means you're taking the job."

"Correct."

"Come on." He says walking back into the office, Demi following behind him. "Have a seat."

"This is for you." She slides the contract across the desk.

"Everything's looks good." He says flipping through the pages and then gets up to file it away.

"So what now?"

"Those two people you saw leaving, they're a couple of investors that I'm trying to partner with. I've had this club for about a year. Business is good, better than good, but I want to expand and take it places. New York, Vegas, LA. London, Paris. Everywhere. I'm definitely going to need your help on this."

"How so? Doing what I do, I've seen the business side of some things, but I'm no expert."

"Well that areas good for now, and teaching it would be no problem if it ever came down to it, but I need you to market the hell out of the club. I want everyone to know this is the place to be when they come to Miami."
