"Die!" One man yelled, stabbing him. But he felt no pain. This had been going on for too long, too long for him to feel anything. All he could think about was why he was getting abused. Or he just wanted dinner.
He waited for the man to finish, then stood up as if nothing happened. "Ah, he's finally done." Then, his wounds began to heal. "Thanks, Kurama," He muttered. There was a low hum. The boy looked at the time and frowned. "Looks like we'll have to get back home in a few minutes."
Several minutes later, he opened the door. Seeing as there was nobody there, he slipped up to his room, a large attic. To the other people that lived there, this was the worse place to be stuck in. But for the boy? All he saw was space to train.
The boy grabbed a few kunai and threw them at several targets. All landed perfectly. After a while, he got bored and laid down on his bed, quickly falling asleep.

"Hello, kit." A low voice greeted him. He nodded.
"As to you, Kurama." The boy sat down on what looked at be sewer water. "I should really change this at some point-"
The large kitsune chuckled, "You're aware of how to do that, correct?" The boy nodded. "Well do it then-"
The sewer like area turned into a field of flowers and the cage Kurama was trapped in turned into a blood red collar with a seal on it.
"You happy-"
Kurama nodded, "I am very much happy." The boy smiled and pat the demon's head.
"Well, I have to go now, bye-" And with that, he vanished and woke up in the real world.

The boy's 'mother' yelled for him to come down for breakfast and said boy choked on his spit. This was uncommon.
Really uncommon.
The boy cautiously walked down, where his 'family' awaited him.
"We've been waiting for you, Naruto."
