"Alright, Di," Shen Yue slipped her shoes on at the door, "I've got to go ahead and leave. Remember what we talked about."
He met her pointed glare with a grin, "I'll try, promise!"
"Dylan!"
He moved toward her, grin growing wider at her exasperation. "I can't help it. Whenever there are other guys around you I get jealous. You're beautiful and everyone seems to want a taste."
Her cheeks flushed at his words, "Don't say things that aren't true. They are just my colleagues, it's normal to be friendly with one another since we never know when we'll be working together again."
"You just don't understand how men think."
"Even if you do get jealous remember that I love you. I live with you. I'm coming home to you, okay? So, when we get back don't blow up at me for something that isn't my fault. And don't make assumptions based on what you think you see. Just talk to me and I'll dispel those doubts for you, got it?" She smiled up at him and gave him a quick chaste kiss before turning back to the door.
"I wouldn't be so bad if people could just know about us, or if you could just text me during all these events." He pouted.
She sighed and looked back to give him a frown, "You know we can't right now. Both of us have contracts that specifically state no dating. When the time comes to renew them, we'll both have enough credibility to demand our own terms. And you know how many people crowd us, it would be too easy for them to see one of our phones when we weren't paying attention and expose us to the world."
He sighed loudly and pulled her into a hug, "I know, I know. It sucks that I'm 24 and still being told what to do, especially concerning you."
"Hold on just a bit longer, babe." She gave him a quick squeeze and moved towards the door once more, "I've gotta go or I'll be late, see you later!"
"Be careful, love you."
"Love ya too!"
He sighed again as the door shut in his face. He, too, would soon have to leave to get ready for tonight, which was some celebrity dinner that they both had to attend – with other people. They were both promoting their new projects and had to stick with their respective costars all night. He had already finished shooting his detective show, but Shen Yue was still in the process of shooting her romance drama. Her very intense romance drama.
He groaned and proceeded to slip his shoes on before stalking out the door.

"Stop looking around like a maniac, people are starting to give you looks."
"Let them." He rolled his eyes at his current leading lady and continued to scan the room. His mind won't be at peace until he sees her. Makes sure she's not bombarded by men. Makes sure her costar is keeping his distance.
"Dylan, Yue is probably already inside. You're making yourself look like an idiot for nothing." She laughed at his grumbling and linked her arm through his, "Come on, you can use me to your advantage."
They whisked down the walkway and into the lobby where the guests would mingle until the dinner began. She quickly scanned the room before making a bee line toward the object of his frantic searching. Dylan regained his composure at the sight of her and matched his costars steps.
"Shen Yue!" She launched herself at her as soon as they were in reach.
"Wang ZiWei!" The small woman stumbled but filled the room with her laughter.
