Chapter 4

Haru examines the girls face trying to find a hint of pain.

"Honestly Haru I've been over Tsukune for awhile now."

Haru just stares at the girl trying to sense a lie.

"That's good I don't want to see you hurt over some indecisive guy."

With that Haru didn't want to touch the subject anymore.

"Let's walk to class Haru. Just me and you."

Moka grabs his hand and leads him away from the group. Haru just looks back and waves goodbye to everyone and walks with Moka.

"Why did we just leave our friends?"

Haru asked trying to see what's on Moka's mind. He knew no matter what she said she was probably hurt by Tsukune.

"I just wanted to get you alone before we are planted in a chair for 3 hours"

Haru just looked over at the girl. He choose to stay silent for the time being not wanting to trigger anything. Moka comes to a halt in an empty hall way in the school. Haru didn't even notice they were walking this way.

"Haru I need to tell you something."

Haru looks at his watch. They have 10 minutes till class so this should be okay.

"What is it Moka?"

Moka just paces in place frustrated with her feelings.

"Hey Moka"

Haru grabs the girls arms to keep her from pacing.

"Haru...I like you a lot. Ever since we were in the human world I just can't stop thinking about everything. My mind just won't let me. All the pain and joy of that night. I loved how you were willing to protect me and my friends. I can't stop thinking about you holding me. I haven't been able to sleep good since. I just need a hug right now all of this is too much just hug me please I need something anything to show me all of this is okay. One day I'm not going to be this person anymore one day I'm going to..."

Haru wraps his arms around the poor girls waist and pulls her close. He interrupts her sentence.

"Shhhhh. Don't worry about all of that right now."

Haru held the girl until it was time for them to go take their exams. Haru had a lot rolling through his mind but he let it all go so he can put all his focus on his exams. Him and Moka walk into the room hand and hand. Instead of Moka sitting with her friends she sat next to Haru as they all took their exams.

"Alright class put down your pencils! You're out of time!"

Ms. Nekonome collected the test as the bell rang through the school calling an end to today. Haru immediately gets up and grabs Moka's hand. They head to News paper club together leaving their friends behind.

"Are you going to ignore Tsukune?"

Haru asked feeling obligated to ask her.

"Of course not he was my first friend. I just want to be alone with you more silly."

Moka gently squeezes Haru's hand cause him to laugh. The two make it to Newspaper club before anyone else gets there. This was Haru's first time actually attending the club so he didn't really know what to expect from it.

"Yahoo!!"

A happy Kurumu shouts entering the room with Tsukune by her side and their friends behind them.

"Haru you actually came to club today"

Tsukune points out. Haru scratches the back of his head.
