3rd Person POV

Being a girl in a world that values men is hard, but Hinata has never once thought of that. She was always cheerful and happy, so much so that it was kind of scary at times. her positive attitude always seems to attract the weirdest of people.

Her parents are always worried that Hinata would get hurt, or meet the wrong people, but that was never the case. Hinata has always had this sort of aura around her that welcomed others, people always seem to change for the better around. Always wanting to get her praise, wanting to make her proud.

It brought such great joy to her parent's hearts seeing this.

"Our daughter will do something big in the future." they thought, always knowing that no matter what, Hinata would always make them proud.

So when she told them that she wanted to play with a men's volleyball team, they weren't surprised at all. Though they did try to convince her otherwise. Warn her of all the dangers up ahead, you know, normal parent things.

Her stubbornness was also something they were used to, something that would be one of her key attributes. They know that she'll never give up on her dreams, no matter how strange they may be.

There was always one thing they were worried about though, something that they know would happen eventually. Relationships, her parents absolutely dreaded the day Hinata would bring home someone dear to her. They were already very protective of her with all the friends and people she's met.

So much so that in order to be good friends with Hinata, her parents needed to meet you and know just what kind of person you are. That's why Hinata only has 2 good friends from middle school; Koji and Izumi.

So when Hinata brought home her entire team home one day, they nearly had a heart attack. The team had come just to convince her parents that Hinata would be fine in the male's volleyball team and that no harm would come to her. Though the rivalry between Hinata and Kageyama at that time didn't seem to help at all, the rest of the team were certainly behaving well. Too well.

While Daichi and Sugawara were talking with Hinata's parents, the rest of their team were trying to act as proper as they could. They were doing great to some extent. Nishinoya and Tanaka haven't done anything loud and stupid for a few minutes now but seemed like they were having trouble keeping their mouths closed when Kiyoko was playing with Natsu, Hinata's little sister. Asahi looked like his soul had just left him, being in a girl's house with her parents there were just too much for him. The poor guy couldn't handle it, yet he still looked extremely imitating. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were just chatting along nicely, but it was hard for Tsukishima. Not being able to say anything sarcastic to Hinata or Kageyama, which would result in a huge fight. Not even a single snarky comment, Yamaguchi had no problem whatsoever though.

The only problem would be Kageyama.

He was already really socially awkward because of what happened in Middle school, but being at someone's parent's house while trying to convince them to let Hinata play? It was too much. he couldn't understand how Daichi and Suga were so patient with Hinata's parents if it were him he'd be screaming his head off by now. Which is why Kageyama remained silent, though his expression did scare Natsu at some point, it did freak Hinata out at how silent her partner was, in fact, it was too silent around her house.

Hinata herself was normally loud in her house, so having it completely silent with so many people in the room was just plain uncomfortable. She decided to spark a conversation with Kageyama. "Hey Kageyama, is there anyone catching your eye at school?" she smirked at him, waiting for a response. She never took Kageyama for the romantic type, so she was interested in what he would say.

But his reaction was something that no one expected, the blush that suddenly covered his face was the first sign, Hinata only stared.

"Wow! The king really does like someone? That's really unexpected!"

Before her parents could say anything, or rather before anyone could mention how oblivious Hinata was being. Suga and Daichi finally managed to convince Hinata'as parents, taking about an hour doing so.

"We promise to take good care of your daughter Mrs. and Mr. Hinata! Afterall she's like a sister to us!"

Everyone looked to Kageyama's expression, then to Tsukishima, who only glared at all of them in response and shook their heads. After saying goodbye to Hinata and her parents they all had one thought in their heads.

"If only that part was true though."
