September 28th
I've always wanted to kill someone.. to open them up and study their insides as they watch. To watch the life slowly drain out.
Unfortunately for me no one I've met has been interesting enough. I want someone worth my time.
...
I've always been a weird kid who up, at least that's how society viewed me. To me I was normal and everyone else was weird. My middle school years was pretty normal, everyone would avoid me, like I was sick. I wasn't sick though, unless you count mentally. I was obsessed with murder cases and horror movies growing up. I would point out flaws throughout the movies and give my parents better ways to handle them. My parents weren't a fan though so I'm currently going to therapy. But now I'm starting my Senior year in a new school.
Westpoint High.
I arrived at school early because my parents had to work early and they're my only ride. It was the beginning of fall but for us its always felt like either summer or winter, Its always too hot or too cold. I sat on a stone bench and stared at my phone, the cold wind hitting my face.
An hour had passed before anyone came. He wore a pair of fitted trousers and a grey sweater with scarf. As he walked closer I recognized him, he was my language arts teacher in the 8th grade. I think his name was Mr. Greyson. I didn't even notice him in front of me till he tapped my shoulder.
"Sorry, did you say something?"
"Yes, did you want to come in?" He pointed towards the front door which was now open with teens slowly flooding in. I hopped up and nodded my head. He gave me a smile and started walking to the doors, motioning for me to follow. A smirk crept its way on my face as I walked with him. I find myself looking at him again, he changed a lot since I last saw him. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail and he had a scar across the right side of his lip.
"Do I have something on my face, or do you find be attractive?" He jokes.
"You're definitely not ugly if that answers your question," I said with a wink, another smirk etching its way onto my face. He let out a laugh and slapped me on the back.
"So I am attractive?" his laugh was amazing. We continue our way down the halls. The silence between us began to lengthen, luckily for me Mr. Greyson seemed to notice and broke said silence with a question.
"I'm glad to know someone in this building has good humour, are you new?"
"Yeah, I moved from California after my parents got promotions."
"Oh so you're a Cali boy too?" I was surprised he didn't recognize me yet. We continued the rest of the way in silence.
I stopped at my first period class, world history.
"I guess this is goodbye for now" I could tell he was slightly disappointed but I didn't say anything about it.
"Yeah, I guess I'll see you later." He flashed a smile and continued walking in the direction of what I'm guessing is his classroom.
I sat outside the classroom for a couple more minutes before the teacher came. He gave me a welcoming smile and invited me in. I took my seat in the far left and waited for the other students to pile in. Class went on with a few students getting loud and some that would constantly get out of their seats to talk with friends. The teacher let us chill since it was the last ten minutes of class but it was interrupted with a knock on the door. The whole class calmed down and took their seats just in case it was an administrator or the principal.
