Time Lapse

Tall trees, green grass, all I can see is green as I walk towards the bridge in front of me, I look up at the orange sky telling me that the sun is about to set while here I am being dumbfounded, cause I think I'm lost. I'm nowhere to be found. I slowly embrace myself when the cold wind started to blow, i can see the crystal water from where I am. There is a mother brood with her duckling playing around in the water, I can hide the little smile that escape from me. How cute.

I was about to turn my back to find my way back home when I heard a familiar song that made me stiff, I held my chest where I can feel my heart raced just like before.. No... You're just dreaming Elie. I tried to move my feet to leave the place but looks like my brain didn't listen to me that I just found myself standing in front of the door of the castle. I reach for the knob and slowly turn it my hands are shaking but I can't do anything about it, I just want to see who the person behind this door is. I don't want to assume but just for now I want to support my decision for myself even just for the last time.

I slightly push the door in front of me to look for the person inside and with that the tears that I've been stopping from falling since god knows when escape in my eyes without any hesitation of what would I look in front of the person that was the reason of it.

He's here. I'm not dreaming and if I'm dreaming please, just please don't wake me up. I'm begging.

The man that I loved and the man that I will always love is sitting in front of the piano playing our favorite song, I stand still looking at him not making any move that would make a sound. I closed my eyes when he played the last piece of the song, I put my two hands in my face as I start to sob really hard, this can't be happening he leaved me, he's not here, I'm just dreaming no I'm more likely hallucinating because I'm seeing things that shouldn't be seen.

My hands wipe the tears that are in my face then i look at him what make me shock is that he's looking directly in my eyes with a smile in his face... The smile that makes me so weak...

He make his way to me without breaking the eye contact between us, my heat raced like before he still have the same effect on me that other boys don't have "My Sunshine" he said as soon as he reach where I am, he held my face and slowly kiss my hair that makes me cry again. I just found myself hugging him so tight. The warm that I've been logging for so long, I don't want to lose this man, not again.

The pain, tears, and the guilt that build up inside of me when his gone starts to fade. I can't feel anything, no I can't explain of what I am feeling right now, it's like mixed emotions. "Tell me I'm not dreaming." I said "You're not my Sunshine. I'm here, I won't leave you now. I promise." he said while making a little distance for us.

It's real. Damn the man in front of me is really real.

"Let's go I know you're hungry, come." he said as he held my hand. He didn't let go of my hand even though we've reach the kitchen, he pull a chair and make me sit and tells me not to go anywhere and just wait for him I just nod at him.. That is what I'm always doing; I always wait for him no matter what. He came back holding a tray full of foods for us I tried to help him but he won't let me.

"Eat now Sunshine." he said as he sit in the chair at other side of the table, I started eating until I realize that he's not touching his food I look at him and raise my eyebrow "Why aren't you eating?" I asked "I'm full Sunshine by just looking at you eating makes me full" he said and smile but that won't work on me "No, you also need to eat I won't continue eating if you're not going to join me." I said while looking directly in his eyes "Okay, I'll eat just don't look at me like that, 'cause you creep the hell out of me" he raised his both hand telling me that I won.
