As our main girl, Ashton, we have the one, and only, Anna Kendrick! There should be a rather lovely picture of her above my little note. Well, we have to start somewhere.

"Ashton, hun, it's time for school dear."
Dear reader, this is an rather fine story about how I fell in love with a complete stranger. Most people would judge me if they found out how I met him, the guy I now love. But I don't care. It's my story, not yours.
That's something I've learned. We choose our own stories. However, we can't choose someone else's, because that's their story. But no matter what, I know we always have an option, just like I did. I could write back, or I could forever question the mind behind the letter.
But I wrote back.
Let me tell you how it started.

"Ashton," mom yelled. "Get down here or you're gonna be late to class."
"Yeah yeah," I reply. It's the beginning of the end. The first day of high school. Mental sigh.
"Ashton, the bus is here!"
I run down the stairs and out the door.
To my dismay, the bus is now driving away from my home. Great. Maybe if I chase after it and waved my arms like a crazy person, they'd stop!
So I did just that.
Running, and screaming, and waving. The bus was moving, and leaving, and I'M NOT ON THE BUS!
Not again.
THIS IS JUST THE INTRODUCTION! YOU KNOW, HOW YOU FIND OUT THAT ASHTON IS A TURTLE! AND THAT I'M A WIERDO!
