Chapter 14

~Four months since the surprise~

PAIGE'S POV

I woke up with a really bad headache and Dougie wasn't laid next to me. I sat up and grabbed my phone of the table at the side of the bed and I saw my wallpaper of us both on the beech. Then I checked up on all my social network sites and stuff on my phone then plugged it in on charge for a bit before I went into the bathroom to splash my face. I then went down stairs with my hair tied in a messy bun.

Paige: Dougie?

I waited for a while and I didn't hear an answer.

Paige: Doug where are u? What are u doing?

I still didn't hear him so I decided to go out side. I slipped on my decathlon pumps and went into the back garden. I checked around and shouted him again but he wasn't there. So I went out the front door and walked around the street.

After ages of walking and shouting I got tired and felt like an idiot so I walked back to our house.

As I turned around and set back off to our house, with my luck, it rained. I pulled my hud up on my jacket and tried to walk faster back. Then it started to pour it down and I was socked by the time I got back.

Paige: Dougie?

I shouted him again as soon as I got back into the house and I took my shoes and jacket of and went back upstairs.

I went back into the bedroom and I saw Dougie on the bed with cuts and bruises all over him.

Paige: DOUGIE! OMG WHATS HAPPENED?!

Dougie: (coughing) I'm fine please just leave me I'll be fine!

Paige: NO UR OBVIOUSLY NOT FINE ARE U?! LOOK AT U!

I lifted him up and sat on the bed next to him. I grabbed him lightly and hugged him.

Paige: (sighs) I love u Dougie. U know that. So please just tell me what's happened.

I said calmly.

Dougie: (gulps) Paige... I just... (A tear rolled down his face as he wiped it away) I'm sorry but... I can't be with u anymore! I'm sorry!

He ran straight out of the room and left the house. My eyes were filling up with tears and my whole body suddenly dropped to the ground.

Paige: what did I do?

I said to myself crying and scared while laying on the floor.

My whole face where covered in tears and my eyes were too so everything was all a blur so I just laid there in shock and so upset and I fell asleep drowning in my tears.
