When I first meet you,
It was the happiest day of my life,
Even when things were rough,
When they were still alive,
But now it's just you and I
In a loving world,
And each day well go on living
As our lives slowly end,
Like how the blossoms bloom.
Don't worry we'll make the most of it,
And have people share our story,
Telling everyone,
'Oh, yes that couple who live down the street, yes I know them very well'.
Our children will view the world with curiosity,
And please do remember that I love you,
Even if I die,
Please remember that,
And if you die,
Well,
I'll live on as well,
even if we're grieving for one another,
We will always know that we'll be in each others hearts,
So don't cry,
I may be gone by now,
But that does not mean you should not continue,
Live your dreams,
Find someone new,
Just remember,
That I will always be in your heart,
Even when the worst comes,
We will be there together,
Forever.
