Kougyoku POV
(walking to the Kou palace)
'Sigh'
"Yes my princess?"
"Huh" I look up a bit startled to see a servants face.
"Oh did I startled you? I'm sorry if I did" he said.
"Its okay, I was just thinking about something" I replied.
"What is it my princess" he asked.
"its nothing" I said.
"My princess if its something that troubles you, you can tell me there's no need to keep it all to yourself" he said.
I took a deep breath and said.
"Well I was wondering why Kouen nii-sama said for me to return to Kou so early"
"Well from what I've heard a ship has arrived just yesterday bringing slaves from one of our allied countries." Another guard said.
"Oi, that was rude of you." The first man said.
"No its fine I was just wondering."
Your POV
"Are you sure you're OK." Pam said.
"Yes I am" I said.
"Well you're limping and it looks like your wound ripped a bit more" she said.
"Also looks its infected" Pam continued.
Time skip a few seconds idk why
As we turn the corner I bump into someone falling back.
"I'm sorry" I get up quickly and bow.
"Its okay I should really watch were I'm going" she said.
"But imperial princess" another voice said.
"No really I'm okay. Plus it looks like this girl has an injury on her leg" she said.
I look up to see a girl probably in her teens with many robes on with crimson pink hair.
"I'm sorry" I say once again.
"Its okay" she said.
"Why don't you come with me and I could treat your wound, it looks like its infected" she said.
"See I told you it looks infected" Pam said then she left.
"No its okay I'll be fine" I replied.
"I insist. Plus its the least I could do for someone who's hurt." she said.
"Are you sure I don't want to be burden to someone I just met." I said.
"Yes I am sure and you won't be a burden." She said.
Then she grabs my hand and drags me to a fancy carriage.
"What's your name?" She said.
"My name?" Said quietly.
"Yes your name" she said.
"Its (y/n)" I said.
"Such a pretty name. Mine is Ren Kougyoku." She said.
"Imperial princess you shouldn't just give your name to just and one" some person said.
"Its fine." She said to him.
We talk the whole way until we arrive at our destination.
