She had always been beautiful.

Every feature in her was something one could get lost forever in if chosen to explore -like a maze never solved, and a puzzle never formed. She was an art of both positives and negatives come clashing in the middle, an equation one would actually enjoy solving, a mystery he couldn't help but theorize.

Yes call him crazy but that's how Jiro feels whenever he sees Aki cycling on her baby pink bicycle, her smile shining brighter than the sun and eyes twinkling brighter than the smaller stars.

It was an instinct for his lips to curve upwards when he sees her streak of blonde hair effortlessly stealing the spotlight together with her sweet honeycomb voice he always had manage to hear whenever he gets close enough to listen to her soft rendition of his now favorite songs.

"You off to run again Ji?"

A hint of playfulness sparked on his older brother's eyes as he lends a smirk on the younger male, who nonchalantly nods.

"Be sure to get her number this time." The older teases as he waves goodbye to Jiro who had ran probably before he could hear what his older brother had babbled.

"Why do birds suddenly appear~" Jiro allows the warm classic song play on his headphones as he jogged around the park waiting for a familiar pink bicycle to come around with a smile never leaving his soft delicate features.

Isn't that-

His smile drops for a moment when he saw the same bicycle parked with the others, seeing the fresh familiar flowers on the front basket and immediately identifying it to be Aki's bicycle.

"You guys are so cute." He turns his head a little to the left when he hears her voice echoing in sweet laughter.

There Jiro saw an amazing sight, one he thought was just as mesmerizing as when he saw her in a bicycle. There Aki had crouched down, cheeks starting to redden in laughter as the birds flocked around her.

"You want more?" She makes a face at the littlest bird on her finger as she hands some snack to it, petting its feathers softly as the other continue to surround her like sheep in a herd. "It tickles."

Breathtakingly ethereal.~

Jiro had forgotten how to breathe for a moment, windpipe choked with the amount longing in his stomach.

Yes Jiro Lee was a weird one.

Already falling for his next door neighbor just after a year of being classmates, knowing so much about her likes and dislikes just by following her like some creepy stalker - except this one had good intentions.

Though fate had did all the it can to put the two together- making them seatmates for the past and current school year, partnering them in activities and games, family dinners thanks to their close parents, and even making them neighbors.

But sadly just like his father, Jiro Lee wasn't just gonna man up and make the first move.

No.

He wasn't even gonna try.

"Well I have to go now, I still have a part time job to get to." She pets the bird one last time before softly raising her arm to wish the bird goodbye.

Alerting his senses back, Jiro chooses to hide himself behind the tree he stood beside, just as the lady decides to stand up and head towards her bicycle that remained parked with the others.

"See you tomorrow." She giggles to the birds before getting on her ride and cycling away, leaving Jiro behind who still was sinking all the beautiful smiles she had kindly shown.

You're going crazy Ji, this is bad.
