Friday was always Peter's favorite day, not today. Normally Peter loves Friday. Peter would love today if it wasn't for his class field trip to the beach. To understand why Peter is making a big deal about the trip, you'd have to backtrack to Monday.
FLASHBACK
Monday morning, Peter walks into homeroom very sleepy. He was up late last night studying for a big test. Peter goes and sits in the back with Ned and MJ.
"Hey, Ned. Hey MJ"
"Sup loser" MJ replied, not even bothering to look up from her book.
" Hey, Peter. Did you hear about the trip?"
"uhhhhh" Peter groaned and flopped his head against the desk.
He, in fact, had heard about the field trip. He wasn't too keen on the idea. You see Peter has been living with Tony, Pepper and the Avengers for the last 6 months. Aunt May had decided to start traveling. So, the last 6 months of Peter's life have been interesting, to say the least. Mostly because of the price that comes with living with the Avengers. That price is teasing material is NEVER EVER forgotten. Peter found that out the hard way. So when the school sent the email about the trip Friday and needing chaperons. The Avengers found an opportunity they couldn't pass up. They announced joining Peter's class at dinner. And oh boy, all Peter could think was:
'I'm going to die, it's official'
Clint teased Peter all weekend. And when Pepper found out it was too late. All she could do was give the Avengers a good scolding and warned them not to embarrass Peter. I mean they would listen, right?
"Yeah, man heard about the field trip. Why?"
"I heard the Avengers would be chaperoning! Know anything about that?" Ned said in an excited and annoyed whisper.
" Uhhh...oops?" Peter replied in an unsure tone. In truth, he had hoped to change the Avengers' mind about going before school on Monday. Seeing as Ned knew his current living situation.
"Dude..*RING*".The bell went cutting Ned off and saving Peter an explanation until lunch.
The teacher walked in and class began. During class, all Peter could think about was how he was hoping for nothing crazy during the trip Friday because he has enough craziness in his life already. I mean what could go wrong right?
