Elementalist + Vampire

Chapter 1

He wakes up to an alarm blaring in his face. He strokes his blonde hair as he rises to his feet. He was sleeping on the cold ground next to the shelter. He tried to get in last night but they were full and had other priorities in place. He walks to the nearest restaurant and cleans up. It's his first day at Yokai Academy he needs to clean up and put on his uniform. Once he looked presentable he walked out the restaurant and stood waiting for the bus to arrive. "Hey kid you going to Yokai this year?" He ignores the strange man and takes his seat on the bus. "I guess anywhere is better than this dumpy place" the bus takes off in full speed nearly sending the kid flying. The bus went through this beautiful tunnel full of colors before reaching this ugly scary school. As the kid got of the bus he introduces himself to the bus driver. "I'm Yazaki Chrono I felt rude by not introducing myself." With that he took off in a sprint to avoid any type of conversation. The exterior of the school looked a little creepy but the closer he got the more pleasant the school began to look. Yazaki always had a thing for art he always admired it and loved it. While walking along the path Yazaki hears a group of people sharing a conversation. "This year I'll definitely get it on with my destined one" those words gave Yazaki the chills. He doesn't like the thought of friends or relationships. "That's where you're wrong you big breasted bimbo Tsukune will be mine and him and Moka will share a sexually relationship with me" a what?! Your nose began to bleed. What kind of people are they?! You turned around and saw the group walking towards you in their own world and conversation. You think fast whether to run or deal with the conversation. You quickly wipe off your dripping blood and try to walk to the school till a voice loudly called out to you "hello!" You turned around as the group walked up to you. "Are you hurt?" The girl with the pink hair politely asks Yazaki. "Uh no what would make you say that?" "I thought I smelled blood" the girl states with her finger on her chin curiously looking at me. "Oh well it wasn't my blood you're smelling." Yazaki states blandly trying to weasel out of a conversation. "Well my name is Moka this guy right here is Tsukune the girl with the blue hair is Kurumu and the little witch is Yukari" "Hey you're not suppose to reveal monster identities!!" The little girl complains "it is kinda obvious" Kurumu remarks. "Anyways the girl with purple hair is Mizore" Moka adds in. "It's nice to meet all of you but I gotta get to class" Yazaki rushes into the school and try's to search for his home room. Yazaki was the first one in class this wasn't unusual to him. He's quite the loner and doesn't really care for people. You take a seat in back and put on your headphones you take everywhere and begin to listen to your music till class starts to pass the time. You only knew your home room teachers name was Shizuka Nekonome. After the bell rings a weird lady with an animal tail walks in. Yazaki took this as the sign to take off his headphones once he did he finally looked around just to notice that group from earlier was in his home room. "Hello students my name is Ms. Nekonome welcome to your home room. Now as you know this a school for monsters by mon...." Yazaki began to blank out after she started talking she wasn't a very interesting teacher in his opinion. As the day went by Yazaki started to see that group more and more. The final bell for his last class rang so Yazaki took off towards the door once out he felt a hand on his shoulder. Chills ran up his body from the physical contact. "You look very lonely" Moka says in a nonchalant tone. "I'm not lonely." Yazaki says to make her go away. "Follow me, okay?" Yazaki turns around and looks at Moka weird. "Why would I follow someone I barely know anywhere?" He replies all snotty and stuck up. "Well I'm apart of this club and I thought maybe you would wanna do something fun instead of just go back to your dorm." Moka grabs Yazaki's arm and drags him into a classroom where her friends reside after school. "Welcome to the News Paper club!" Moka excitedly pushes Yazaki further into the room. "Oh Hey I remember you from this morning" Tsukune says looking Yazaki up and down wondering why Moka dragged him in here. "Yeah I'm not here to stay" Yazaki whispers while leaving. Moka follows him. She trails him until he stops. "Look I know you're following me." Yazaki turns around to be greeted by an awkward Moka. "Sorry I just thought you could use a friend. I know what being lonely is like and I know how painful it can be." Yazaki raises an eyebrow. This girl has appealed to his curiosity. "I'm not lonely tho" Yazaki chuckles. "I've got myself" He then smiles and points both thumbs at himself pretending to be cheerful for the sake of escaping this girl. Moka then walks closer and gestures Yazaki to sit on the floor she took a seat next to him. "I grew up in the human world. No friends and I guess you could say no family either. I have this rosary on my chest that seals away my vampire self. Since I've gotten the rosary my family has disowned me. I know loneliness I know what it looks like" tears begin to fall from Moka'a Beautiful eyes. Yazaki feels bad for her. "I grew up alone too but I've learned to embrace it and accept it." Yazaki gently smiles at Moka. "You're my first friend Moka." "Yazaki Chrono" he puts his hand out for her to shake. "Moka Akashiya" "it's a pleasure to meet you" Yazaki stands and pulls Moka up. "I'll join your club Moka." Yazaki and Moka begin to walk back towards the room where the club resides. "Yazaki what kind of monster are you anyways? I wanted to ask cause you kinda already know what I am..." Moka begins to blush. "Uh well I'm an elementalist." Moka puts her finger on her chin. "What's an elementalist?" Yazaki raises an eyebrow at her. "You don't know what an elementalist is?" Moka blushes "well no..." Yazaki held in a chuckle "it's someone who can control all the elements such as Water, Fire, Wind, Earth, and Air." Moka puts her hand on her chin as if thinking. "So wait are you human?" Yazaki could no longer hold in his chuckle "Yes I could be called that but a very powerful human who is stronger than most S class monsters." Finally we reach the room where the club is being held just to see a hole in the wall and three panicking girls. "What happened here and where's Tsukune?" Moka questions. "A group of dorks attacked him we need to chase after him!" Kurumu shouts as her wings and nails sprout out without and effort she grabs Yukari and chases after Tsukune and the group of losers Moka and Mizore run after them. Yazaki just stands there in shook of the situation. "What have they gotten themselves into....I have to protect Moka." Yazaki began to sprint towards the fight just to be met by three dorks picking on Tsukune. "You know it's rude to pick on someone when you look like that." Yazaki spouts out not thinking at all of the consequences. The three men get aggravated "what are you trying to say?!"
"Yeah we know we're not the most attractive monsters umbrella"
"You will hand over our precious girls"
Precious girls...oh god.
You quickly become irritable. These guys were quite annoying before you did something that could cause real damage to these loser fog filled the air. A beautiful girl with silver hair and red eyes appear her beauty distracts Yazaki. "Hey man we were talking to you! Tsukune will stay away from our woman!" The umbrella hits Yazaki with a slimy sprinkle attack. Yazaki's rage takes over and fire begins to surround his body. "Hey Yazaki calm down!" The silver haired girl kicks the three boys swiftly yelling "Learn your place!" Once the boys are out of sight you quickly regain cool. "Thank you for that Moka" Tsukune hands the silver hair girl who is Moka her Rosary. Ohhhhh. It clicked now to Yazaki. "Tsukune do not call me out for people as weak as that you all should be capable of taking care of them on your own." Moka looks towards Yazaki and smiles. "You could've handle them isn't that right Yazaki?" Yazaki blushes. "I don't have my power under control yet but I'm working on it" Moka seemed displeased with that response as she put her rosary back on. "Can somebody explain to me what has happened?" Kurumu walks towards me and stand right in front of Yazaki. "Whenever Tsukune is in trouble he can pull the rosary around Moka'a next turning her into her vampire form." Kurumu says as if it was obvious. "I'm assuming you're a succumbs" Yazaki says softly more to himself. "Thanks for helping out Yazaki" Tsukune chimes while holding Moka. I wonder which Moka is the real Moka. This is all confusing I can already tell this is gonna be a long year. "I'm gonna uh head back to my dorm." Yazaki escapes any further confrontation with those trouble makers. Besides it's not like he needs to be involved in anymore trouble. Yazaki pulls out a key from his pocket and open the door to his room. It looks kind of empty right now but that is because he doesn't have much stuff to begin with. He hurried and changed out of his uncomfortable school clothes into his shorts. When he knows no one is going to be around he typically doesn't wear a shirt. What am I going to do? Moka is beautiful. I just want to sit with her and talk for ours. I've never had a friend before so I don't wanna mess this up.being lonely for so long does come with its own little curses. Reading social cues and interacting with people isn't my best skill. Since today was so long Yazaki decided to just lay down and try to rest it off. Yazaki gets under the blanket and tries to fall to sleep. Out of no where in the middle of the night Yazaki hears three small taps on his door. "Hold on!" He quickly takes off the blanket and turn on a light which immediately he regrets doing. "Tsss" the light did not work well with his eyes at the moment. Finally Yazaki opens the door to be greeted by a sight that he might mistaken for a dream. "Moka? How are you even in your vampire form? Has something happened?" Yazaki begins to panic. Moka laughs at him. "We need to talk so I had Tsukune take off the rosary" confused Yazaki's nose wrinkles as he invites Moka in. "I don't have a couch so just sit on my bed." Yazaki ushers Moka towards the bed and sits next to her rubbing his eyes. "I sense power" Yazaki glances over at her full of confusion "really now?" Moka looks at him annoyed "Yes and starting tomorrow you and me will be training together." Yazaki groans. "Is there a problem with that?" Moka growls at him. "You don't have to be aggressive I'll train with you Moka calm down I was kinda sleeping before you came sorry if I don't seem very social" Moka laughs "you never seem social" Yazaki blushes "well thanks I don't understand why you care about my power." Moka just stares at the poor boy. "It'd be nice to catch a break in battle" "I bet Tsukune gets you in all types of trouble" Yazaki adds a slight smile "what's going on with that guy anyways? It's seems like every girl he meets falls in love with him?" Moka raises an eyebrow at the fact that Yazaki pays attention "well I don't know why all those girls swoon over him" Moka continues to stay quiet. "Well since you aren't saying much I'd like to go to sleep." Finally Moka speaks up "Wait! Can I stay here tonight? I've got a lot on my mind and I like it in your small room" Yazaki blushes. Sure you take the bed and I'll take the floor. Yazaki grabs a pillow off the bed and just lays on the floor. "Don't you want a blanket?" Moka soothes in. Yazaki was already fast asleep so Moka laid on the bed and tried to sleep as well.
