The neighbors upstairs were walking around
The kids were outside waiting for the bus
And the tears kept falling
The sun was covered by clouds
The rain was pouring over the city

Her friends were calling her
They left so many voicemails

Her parents were busy
Her brother was too
And the tears kept falling
Her cheeks were red
Her eyes stung
And the tears kept falling
She was dying inside
She was falling apart

She wanted compassion
She wanted understanding
And the tears kept falling
She felt alone
No one understood
And the tears kept falling
She didn't know what to do
She had to try something
And the tears kept falling
She couldn't speak
She couldn't move
And the tears kept falling
She grabbed her pen and started to write
She made a letter to everyone
And the tears kept falling
She ended the letter
She said goodbye
And finally the tears stopped falling
