The sound of rain falling down heavily echoed through the classroom. It was surprisingly silent, even with the sound of the rain in the background.

“Man, this sucks!” Ashido whispers, throwing her arms in the air. “Are we seriously going to spend the entire P.E. hour inside?”

Well, it was silent.

“Guess it can’t be helped.” Kaminari sighs, stretching his arms. “Mr. Aizawa is fast asleep, and I’m pretty sure the school has nothing prepared for this hour besides P.E.”

“It certainly seems like it.” Iida murmurs. “I suppose we can all engage in quiet conversation, unless you’d like for me to wake Mr. Aizawa up. So that we can continue with homeroom.”

“Wow, Class Rep, what’s gotten into you? Are you actually asking us this sort of stuff?” Uraraka laughs, patting Iida’s shoulder.

Yaoyorozu simply shakes her head, a small smile planted on her face. “I assume we can be out of our seats as long as we behave, correct?”

“I suppose—”

“Thanks a lot, IidaMomo!” Sero is fast to cut off Iida’s sentence with a wide grin, automatically standing up. He slightly jogs to Mina’s desk, who is bouncing enthusiastically in her seat herself.

Todoroki had turned to Yaoyorozu by then, who had already started on her daily debate on how amazing Jirou is. Although it was more him listening to her gush over Jirou rather than the two of them talking, he enjoyed it. He liked seeing his best friend be so upbeat, even though he couldn’t relate to her in the slightest.

It’s one of the many things that always drives him to talk to her, really. He loves how over excited she gets 90% of the time.

“Ah, that reminds me!” she lights up for the fifth time that minute. “Have you and Midoriya-san discussed what you will be doing during summer break?”

Todoroki’s brain short-circuits for a moment. “Shit,” he mutters under his breath. “We still need to figure that sort of stuff out.”

“You should go talk to him now.” Yaoyorozu smiles sympathetically, tilting her head to the side. “It’ll probably help you more than listening to me gush over Kyouka.”

“It certainly would.” Todoroki deadpans, to which Yaoyorozu simply slaps his shoulder in a playing manner.

He stands up, and his brain short-circuits again. He’s already moving towards Midoriya’s desk, but what is he going to say? Does he actually have any idea of what they’ll do for summer break? Well, no. Not really. His father had promised to take the family overseas in the last few weeks of summer break, which had sounded fine to everyone. Even his mother. Todoroki was now questioning if it really was fine. What would they do before those last few weeks? Would they just hang out? Or not talk at all?

He sighs, trying to clear his head, and looks up. He’s already behind Midoriya, so he places a hand on his shoulder to assert his presence.

“Todoroki-kun! ” Midoriya exclaims, jumping slightly. “You caught me off guard.” he laughs.

“Sorry, Midoriya.” Todoroki retreats his hand from its place. “I just needed to ask you some stuff about what we’ll do.”

“Hah? So you did have the balls to ask him?” Bakugou growls, not sparing the two a glance at all. “Fucking figures. Look at the damn nerd’s notebook.”

“Kacchan, no!” Midoriya yelps.

He’s too late to stop Bakugou from reaching out and grabbing his notebook, without, somehow, turning around.
