Lucky Man!

"May Johnny Deekman please go to the boss's office," A man over the telecom said,

'What could he want?' Johnny thought,

It was the 23rd of December and he was promised the next two days off,

'They better not take those away,' He thought,

Johnny was 18, a successful man so far, taking a career in machinery. Yes, he decided not to go to college. He had a girlfriend, Cassy, that he loved deeply,

So, Johnny got up from his spot and went to Mr. Testa's office. He was a cold-hearted fellow that only cared about money. Johnny figured that he was gonna make him work the next two days, despite having a family,

"You want me, sir?" Johnny asked as he knocked on the door,

"Yes, please, have a seat," Mr. Testa said as Johnny walked in,

"Ok," Johnny said as he walked to the door, feeling a little bit calmer,

Mr. Testa, despite being cold-hearted, always had a soft spot for Christmas. This was because he claimed Jesus let him have the power to make all of his money,

"Today I am giving everyone a gift, for Christmas," He said to Johnny,

'Huh? Did I just hear him right,' He pondered,

"I know you like Bon Jovi, so, I gotcha tickets for their concert," Mr. Testa said,

No way! Mr. Testa was actually doing something nice! Since when does that happen?!

"Thank you so much, sir," Johnny said,

Johnny was about to get up, but he heard Mr. Testa say,

"Hold on, now we have to about why I really called you here," This made Johnny confused,

"Okay, what's the problem?" He asked his boss,

"You're fired," Mr. Testa said without hesitation,

"Wha...What?" He asked him,

"Yup, get all your junk out of here by tomorrow," The boss said,

So, Johnny, out of frustration, took his tickets, kicked the door open, and left the office without even a goodbye.

'That jerk! Thinking tickets will make everything better.' He thought in frustration,

'But, what will I do with them?' He thought,

It would be a decision that will change his life forever.
