Back in the beginning of World War 2, the French and English troops were trapped on the northern coast of France be the Germans. They sent a message across the English Channel saying, 'And if not'. That phrase has been tracked to Daniel 3:17-18 which says, 'If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us  from Your Majesty's hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."' It is actually amazing as the troops were basically saying that they were going to win this for England and France but if not, they would die serving their countries. Also, here is an example of the Bible being in world history.

Dear Jesus, thank you for this great example of how you are in everything. You are amazing. Even in battle, people remember you and your message. Please help me. Help me to go out for you, and let us remember these verses and say, 'and if not'. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Amen.
