~Graces POV~

I woke up with a sound of something breaking. My eyes opened immediately and I shot out of bed. I opened my door and saw Matt at his. We ran downstairs.

"Mom?!" I said and saw her in the living room with her phone in one hand and a broken glass bowl on the floor.

"Mom are you ok?" Matt asked. I walked over the cleaned up the mess.

"Im fine honey, Sweetie you dont have to do that." Mom said preferring to me.

"No mom its ok. What happened?" I asked throwing away the broken shards in the trash.

"Oh its nothing. My friend called me telling me she broke her wrist. I was shot and accidentally dropped the bowl." She laughed a little then walked over to the sink. I nodded and walking back upstairs. I brushed my teeth then hair and put on my make up. I grabbed my "Totally" pink crop top with dark blue skinny jeans. I grabbed my phone and bag.

"Why are you here?" I heard mom said. I stopped in my track and looked towards mom. She was on the phone. She looked annoyed.

"After everything you show up now." She said back.

"I dont care! Never go near me or my family again." She hung up and sighed. I closed my eyes and walked out.

"Hey mom." I smiled and sat down.

"Hey sweetie so are you ready for you dance tryouts?" She asked with a smile. I should say fake.

"Yup! I cant wait. Oo reminds me I have to get my stuff ready then I have to leave." I got up and ran upstairs. I packed my black crop top that covers my belly button and women/men harem pants with black and gray supras sneakers. I put them in a duffle bag and walked downstairs.

~Matts POV~

As Grace walked upstairs I looked at mom.

"Mom whats really going on?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows.

"What you mean? Im telling the truth." She questioned.

"Mom I know when ur lying or fake smiling." I said crossing my arms. I raised one eye brow. She sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Its your father....Hes back in town." She said quietly. I was shocked. Dad. What? Hes here?

"Wait. Hes here? Now?" I asked leaning on the table.

"Dont tell you sister. Yes he is. I cant believe hes back." She said looking down.

"Mom arnt you happy?" I asked confusingly.

"Theres things you and your sister doesnt know. and cant know. Someday you will get it but not today. Please dont tell Grace. I dont even know how she would react." She said touching my hand.

"But mom if you dont tell her she will act even worst." I asked and got up and walked to my room and got dressed. I put on my galaxy shirt with blue baggy skinny jeans and a belt with a light blue beanie. I brushed my teeth then grabbed my phone and bag and walked back downstairs as Grace walked back up. I smiled at her.

Should I tell her? I want to tell her. But its mom. Grace is my twin and we tell each other everything. She will be mad and hate me. But this time its about dad. The one who grace looked up to. I walked back into the kitchen and looked at mom.

"Tell her." Mom said. I slightly smiled to myself. Its good that she let me tell her but I have a feeling she should. I nodded. Grace came down stairs with her duffle bag.

"Whats all this?" I asked pointing to her bag.

"Dance try outs is after school." She said dropping it and sighing.

"Hey I would drive you to school today fair?" I asked her and then the door bell rang. I got up and went to go get it. It was Carter.

"Hey Man." He did out hand shake and bro hug.

"Carter!" Grace smiled and hugged him.

"Hey Gray you missed me that much?" He chuckled.

"Of course I didnt see you for a while!" She smiled brightly. Her eyes changed from normal blue green from bright blue. She is always happy and excited when Carter comes around.

"Wanna drive me to school?" She asked him. I rolled my eyes.

"I was gonna!" I whinned.

"Whatever I like Carter better." Grace hugged Carter again. i chuckled and walked back to get my bag and keys.

"So your not grounded?" Carter asked. Grace looked at mom and she smiled signaling that she was free. She smiled back at her. Thank god she wasnt grounded.

"Yup looked like it!" Grace giggled and grabbed her bag and duffle bag.

~Graces POV~

I was happy Carter was here. Everytime I see him Im always happy and I get this weird feeling in my stomach but I push them away. Mom told me I ws finally ungrounded. I was happy. Thank god. I grabbed my stuff and walked out the door and put them in Carters car. Yes Carters taking me to shcool and maybe to tryouts.

I felt like someone was watching me and it was a weird and creepy feeling. I turned around and looked around to find someone but I didnt. I hopped into te car and turned on the radio. Carter got in after talking to Matt and smiled at me.

"So whats up with the duffel bag?" Carter asked starting the car.

"I have dance tryouts and was hoping you would take me because your driving me to school." I said smiling and batting my eyes. I started laughing.

"Of course Ill take you." He tapped my nose and we drove to school. Everytime Im with this goof ball I feel happy and safe. Its a feeling I havent felt in a long time but I chose to ignore it.

*Tryouts*

Carter drove me to the big local cheer gym and I walked in and sat with the rest of the girls who is try out. I felt nervous. I stood up and started walking around.

"Gray you will be fine. You are amazing trust me. You will get on the team." Carter assured me.

"Thanks but this isnt like cheer. This is harder to get in. Sometimes if you do a move they dont like you get off the team." I said looking around.

"Shake it off. Focus on getting onto that team." He smiled and got up and hugged me. He kissed my cheek.

"Good luck kiss." He whispered in my ear sending chills down my spin. I felt goose bumpes forming from that kiss and hugges. The hair on the back of my neck went up. Damn this kid.

"Thanks." I mumbled. "I have to get dressed." I got my duffel bag and walked into the bathroom. When I changed I walked out abd bumped into a guy.

"Im sorry." He said in a deep deep voice.

"Its fine." And he walked away quickly. Who was that? He looked familiar but I could remember.
