Things Are Different Now

Her Brown Eyes

Aria's POV

I had never been this exited, I missed the girls so much. I couldn't help but worry how they may have changed while I was gone, I mean a year is a long time in a small town like Rosewood. But all those feeling were pushed away when I got to our house, and the girls were already outside waiting.

I was practically dragged out the car by Hanna who immediately pulled me into a massive hug, which Emily and Spencer joined in to. After we had all finished hugging we went to unpack all the boxes, thanks to girls we were finished in almost half the time. Once Hanna and Emily had left me and Spencer went up to my room. I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was, the way her hair curled perfectly, the way her cheek bones show when she smiles, and the way her brown eyes light up when she exited. Wow she was...gorgeous...No, what is happening right now? Please no, I am in love with my best friend.

After Spencer shut the door, she turned to me "Are you okay?" she asked, resting her hands on my shoulders, I could feel my whole body react to the touch, and a warm feeling passed through me. "W-w-what yeah I'm fine" I said laughing it off, but Spencer didn't laugh, she knew when I was lying. "Come on Aria we have been friends forever, and even though you have been gone a year I can still tell when your lying" She said smiling.

Spencer's POV

I didn't belive Aria, not for a secound, we tell eachother everything so what is she not telling me now? I couldn't help my feel my heart break, I loved her and I wanted to be there for her, but now I can't. "Spencer really I'm fine" aria said puling away from me, "look sorry Spencer but I...I have unpacking to get done, talk later?" She said awkwardly opening the door, "umm yeah, see you" I said leaving, and Aria didn't even say goodbye before shutting her bedroom door.

As I walked back to my house, I couldn't help but think about Aria. I was worried, what if something had happened in Iceland? No, she would have told me in the emails...right?

Aria's POV

The next day was my first day back at high school, I looked out for Hanna and Emily and spotted them almost immediately. "Hey Aria, your back at school already?" Emily asked, "don't they give you a break?" Hanna said laughing. Just then I saw Spencer walking over, "sorry guys I need the bathroom" I quickly mumbled before running inside.

Spencer's POV

I saw Aria run inside as I walked up, "is she okay?" I asked them, they looked confused as I did. "she said something about going to the bathroom then just ran off" Hanna said, I went off after Aria.

I ran into the hallway, just in time to see Aria go into the bathroom. I knocked lightly on the stall door, "come on Aria open up the door, your not the only one who could use a little team Sparia right now" It hurt to say those words, we used to call each other that all the time, and now well she won't even look at me. "Please Aria just talk to me" she didn't answer.
