Luke's POV

Today was finally the day that I left high school forever.  Honestly, I thought that it was going to be much worse, but with Carly and our friends that we have, it was one of the best years of my life where I was truly happy.

I got ready at my apartment so I could surprise Carly and let her see the new shirt I bought.  I got a new navy blue button up shirt and a black tie, and I was wearing black ripped jeans, like always.  I styled my hair into a perfect quiff and put on a silver lip ring.

Carly was coming to pick me up and bring me to school along with Ashton, Mike, and Calum.  Niall, Harry, and Louis were driving together.  We were all going to meet up at a resturant after the ceremony for food.

I saw Carly pulling up to my apartment, and I was waiting outside for her.  I could see the three boys squeezed into the backseat of her car, and I chuckled to myself.  When Carly pulled all the way up to the apartment she got out and walked up to me.

"You look amazing!" She said hugging me and giving me a kiss on the lips.

"Same for you" I said pulling her back for another kiss, but I held her head in place for longer, because I loved the feeling of her lips on mine.

"HEY!" I heard Ashton's muffled scream as I turned and saw him banging on the window glaring at us.

"WE HAVE TO GOOOOO!" He said pointing at his watch.

I gave him the middle finger and grabbed Carly's hand, pullig her over to the car.  I sat in the passenger seat, and she pulled out of the parking lot, and drove to the school.

"CARLYYY!" Louis shouted as she got out of the car, and ran up to hug her, Harry following closely behind and frowning when Louis let go of his hand to hug Carly.

"I'M SO EXCITED TO LEAVE THIS JAIL!" He shouted jumping around, making everybody laugh.

"ME TOO LOU!" Carly said, mimicking Louis' excitement.

"Let's go then guys" Calum said, motioning for us to follow him.

The whole ceremony was a drag, but when I went up to get my diploma I felt pride in myself, and happiness beyond belief.  When I turned to get off the stage I looked into the crowd of my classmates, but all I saw was Carly.  She had tears in her eyes, and she was clapping softly, and giving me a warm smile.  While on the other hand, Calum, Michael, Ashton, Louis, Harry, and Niall were hollering and screaming for me.

At the end of the whole thing, we all threw our hats in the air, and screamed.  When we were all getting up to leave, I was searching for Carly, and I saw her at the same time she saw me, and she took of running towards me.

I opened my arms, and dropped my graduation gown on the grass, and caught her in my arms, and gave her a long kiss, with her legs locked behind my back.  People were staring, but I couldn't care less.

"We made it" She whispered in my ear.

"I know baby" I said smiling and giving her one more quick kiss before I put her back on the ground.

"ARE YOU READY FOR GRADUATION DINNER!?" louis shouted as he walked up to us.

"YEAH!" I shouted back, and gave him, along with everyone else, a hug.

Carly went to see her parents, and so did the boys, but mine weren't there.  Whatever.  I walked over to Carly to say hi to her parents.

"Hello Luke" Carly's mom says as I walked up to them.

"Hello" I say grabbing Carly by the waist and pulling her close to me.

"So, you guys are going to dinner?" Her dad said to Carly.

"Yeah, and i'm staying over Luke's house tonight, i'll call you guys later though so you know where I am."

Her parents never liked when she stayed with me at night, but there's nothing they can do about it.

"Okay...be careful, and all that jazz" Her dad said.

"Will do" I said back to him.

He gave us a thumbs up, and took Carly's mom by her hand, and led her back to their car.

"Let's go meet up with everybody" Carly said.

"Sounds good" I said kissing her on the cheek.

We all decided to go to a small resturant a few miles away from the school.  It was more secluded then the regular resturants we usually go to, but Carly suggested it and said that it was really good.  It was cute inside, and cozy.  All eight of us got a table by the window.  It was now raining out.  A much different setting then it was just a few minutes ago.

"Can we all just order something and share it?" Niall whinned.

"Now that, my friend, is a great idea" Harry said high-fiving Niall.

We all got something smal and shared it.  Carly was right.  It was delicious.

"What are you guys going to do now?" Michael asked everyone.

"I don't know.  I wanna take a year off before I go back to collage" Louis said chewing on a piece of chicken.

"You do?  Why not just go and get it over with so you can get out and run to me?" Harry asked, putting his arm around Louis and pulling him closer.

"It's not like i'm going anywhere, Haz.  We're going to collages close together."

"Still" Harry shrugged.

"Can we stop talking about this.  I don't like the idea of all of us being apart" Carly said looking down.

"Apart doesn't mean gone" Calum said patting Carly on her back.

"Well it's still apart.  but let's stop.  Please" Carly said turning to me to pout.

I gave in.

"Guys, we should stop" I said wrapping my arms around Carly.

"Where do you wanna go after this?" Ashton said, finishing off his chicken wing.

"I don't know.  Let's go to the playground, near the beach" Harry suggested.

"But it's pouring" Carly said with a frown on her face.

"All the more reason to" Harry grinned.

"Fine, whatever."
