PART I
The Dream

"Cry Baby! Haha, you loser!"
They all cried her name.
They all left her in tears.
"Leave me alone!"
She would cry.
"Stop being such a cry baby!"

Cry Baby woke up with a startle.
She gazed around her room.
No one was there.
There were no kids.
Just her mirror, a bed, a window, everything she owned.
No one was there.

It was five in the morning.
Cry Baby would get up in one hour for school.
She dreaded school.
Kids on the playground would call her rude names.
She was always the nice one.
She even treated the bullies nicely.
Deep inside, she was crazy.
A maniac.
A psychopath.

She had a journal where she'd write her thoughts away.
She once wrote about a boy she saw in her dreams.
Was it a dream?
He had a red hat.
Black skinny jeans.
A white jacket.
Underneath was a white shirt.
He was mysterious.
She could not see his face, or remember it.
They had a conversation in her dream.
Sadly, she doesn't remember the dialogue.
But she liked him.
Cry Baby went back to sleep.

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*
Cry Baby shut off her alarm.
It was now six in the morning.
She felt tired.
She had to go to school anyways.
Cry Baby got up to get herself some food.
She'd always have to do it on her own.
No one cared enough to get it for her.
She was used to it.
A bowl of cereal or some chocolate bars would do the trick.
She got the chocolate for today.
The bus would arrive in thirty minutes.

Cry Baby finished her breakfast and ran back to her room to get dressed.
A dress or a skirt with a cute crop top?
A dress it was.
A short pink one.
A cute collar was around the neck.
It was white.
Cry Baby felt comfortable with herself.
Time flies by when you are having fun.
The bus arrived.
She got on the bus and rode to school.

Kids stared at Cry Baby and laughed, too.
Her self-subconscious self felt embarrassed and nervous.
Some boy from behind pulled her pink curl.
She turned around fast and slapped the boy.
He fell back on the seat and held the spot where she slapped him.
The boy got revenge and pulled more of her hair.
Before Cry Baby could get him back, a boy called out:
"Leave her alone!"
Cry Baby looked in the direction the voice came from.
The strange boy sat in the seat across from the boy who pulled Cry Baby's hair.
She froze, not knowing what to do.
"Would you like it if I just did this—"
The boy in the red beanie plucked the other boy's hair.
"...to you all day?"
The bully jolted back in pain.
Cry Baby smiled.
She's never gotten stood up for.
And a boy with the... red eyes decided to do it.
Cry Baby was shy.
She wanted to thank him.
She ended up babying out and didn't.
