"Omg Mara!! WHY ARE YOU STILL IN BED?? YOU HAVE TO GET READY TODAY! THE ALPHA KING IS COMING OMG!!"

I opened my eyes slightly looking straight up at Jasmine squealing. I turned and saw Hannah laughing. I groaned when I felt a pillow hit my face. I sat up with the covers around my body and starred at them. They both have a crush on the new alpha king.

"I will get ready but not because I want to catch the alpha's eyes."

"I hope not, because then I'm gonna be in huge trouble. I don't wanna lose you."

I looked up and saw Jack with his smirk on his face. He was leaning against the door frame with a tray of food. He walked towards the bed and sat the tray on my lap, there was a note that said happy birthday. It was my 17th birthday today. Jack kissed my forehead and sat next to me on the bed.

"Oh shit, Mara it's your birthday it totally flew across my head" Jasmine exclaimed.

"Yeah, but you sure didn't forget the day the king alpha will be crossing our land."
Hannah butted in with laughter

"It's fine, I have Jack and that's all I need"
I turned to him and grabbed his hand with mine.

"YOU REALLY THINK WE WOULD FORGET YOUR BIRTHDAY!!"

I looked towards the door and saw Jasmine with balloons and gifts. Hannah quickly went outside to return with few other gifts. I loved these girls so much. Jasmine was the little sister of Jack and Hannah goes to the same high school as all three of us. We're around the same age but I'm the youngest. Jack turned 19 last week and the alpha threw a huge party since he was the beta of the pack.

"I love you guys."
They both came and hugged me, they gave me their gifts and I left it on the bed. I quickly finished the breakfast Jack made and put the tray next to the bed side.

"Jack needs to mark you and make you his before you guys find your mates, I don't wanna any other sister in law besides you."

My eyes widened and looked at Jasmine with shock. Jack threw a pillow at Jasmine and gave her a glare. They both looked at each other intensely before she gave me her two gifts. I opened the first one and it was three pairs of lingerie sets. I started to blush and quickly opened the next one. It was a beautiful red dress.

"I got you the lingerie and dress for tonight, one is to show everyone how stunning you are and the other one is just for some eyes. Even though it's kinda gross to think of it. I need nephews and nieces."

"Okay Anyways Hannah what did you get me"

"I got you an amazing gift that probably won't make you feel embarrassed."

I grabbed the gifts and one was bath bombs and the other gift was a pair of black heels.

"Okay well I need to change so can you guys leave the room please."

"It's like no one in this room hasn't seen you naked already."

I was shocked especially because the one who said it was Jack. I threw a pillow at him and he quickly caught it. He was laughing and stoke his tongue out at me.

"I'm not getting ready for the greeting if people are in here."
I said it starring at Jasmine.

"Okay bitches, everyone out because I need her to be at the gathering with me or I won't be able to go up to the alpha tonight by myself."

Jasmine quickly got up and grabbed Jack and Hannah by their arms and dragged them out the room. She blew a kiss at me before shutting the door. I don't understand how or why she's obsessed with this new king. She hasn't seen him, she just heard from other packs that he's very handsome and if you're "lucky" you will be his many one night stands. Every time I think about it I roll my eyes. I let go of the cover and head straight into the showers to get cleaned. I'm dreading this night for some reason.
