"YOU'RE insecure! Don't know what f--" Kira's singing was instantly cut off by her best friend Aaliyah's yelling.

"I swear to God, K! Shut the fuck up!" Aaliyah finally lost it.

Both girls were currently in the middle of their birthday party. They had been best friends since birth. They were born only two days apart and so they always had conjoined birthday parties. Today however was both of their eighteenth birthdays.

"Liyah! Language, please." Aaliyah's mother scolded her as said girl rolled her eyes at the statement.

Kira's mother (being the nicest and most unconfrontational woman that she was) clapped her hands together and said, "Let's sing the birthday girls their Happy Birthday song!"

Kira and Aaliyah both sat next to each other and smiled at each of their custom made cakes. Kira's was, of course, One Direction themed and Aaliyah's was Criminal Minds themed. Their tastes varied so much it was a wonder they were even friends. The two young girls looked around awkwardly at their friends and family singing to them until it was finally time to blow out the candles.

As she took in a deep breath only one wish could come to mind; I wish Kira would shut the fuck up about One Direction already.

Sucks for her that that wish was about to bite her in the ass.

Aaliyah awoke the next morning blurry-eyed. She really needed to learn how to take her contacts out before bed. She had a habit of never taking them out until they fell out which was why it had taken her at least three minutes to realize that this was definitely not her room.

The walls were littered with gold and platinum records and the walls itself were colored black. Sun shone through white lace curtains and duvet she was under was black as well and super comfy. Wherever she was she honestly didn't want to leave.

That was until she heard a noise.

Aaliyah threw the cover over her head as the sound of the door knob turning startled her. She tried to be as silent as possibly and hopefully the stranger wouldn't notice that there was a random person in their bed, but all her hopes were thrown out the window as the person pulled the duvet down and said, "Good morning, baby,"

What the fuck?

Aaliyah didn't know who it was. She kept her eyes closed, hoping to feign sleep. It was a man, she knew. And he had an English accent.

First of all, she was not in any kind of relationship. She had spent the last eighteen years of her life avoiding boys all together. Aaliyah didn't do relationships and she'd only ever been on one date in her life. Not to mention the fact that she'd never kissed anyone so who the hell was calling her 'baby'? Second, she knew absolutely no one with any accent, let alone a British one. What the fuck was going on?

The man pulled the duvet off of Aaliyah's face and that was when Aaliyah peeked an eye at him. He was tall and very handsome. Very Aaliyah's type. That was until she noticed a birthmark on the guy's neck.
Liam Payne had the exact same birthmark.

Aaliyah knew almost everything about each member of One Direction. Kira wouldn't let her forget. She knew their families' names. She knew all girlfriends (past and present) and their birthdays. Things that someone who absolutely hated their music should not have the knowledge of, but Aaliyah was cursed like that.

The only problem was that despite all she knew about Liam and his appearance, this Liam was quite different. Tattoos littered his body whereas the Liam she knew only had the arrows on his forearm. His once shaggy hair that resembled Harry's was a short quiff. Even a slight beard adorned his cheeks. Let's not forget the abs he was packing that Aaliyah could clearly see as he only wore some low-hanging black sweatpants. It looked like Liam, but a far more mature one.

"Hi." Aaliyah mumbled, looking at his body. It wasn't exactly the most appropriate time or place, but she couldn't deny what she saw and what she saw was damn nice.

Liam put the tray on top of the bedside table and smiled at Aaliyah. She didn't know why he was smiling at her. She was just some random girl in his bed. If she was him she'd assumed that herself was a fan and kicked her the hell out, but Liam only smiled and sat next to her on the bed.

As he pulled the duvet further off her body, Aaliyah felt a chill come over her and she looked down to see herself underwear-clad.

"Fuck." Aaliyah muttered to herself as she tried to pull the cover back over her.

Liam whined, "Baby, don't hide that body from me."

Aaliyah quirked her eyebrow in confusion. She had never had an increasingly amazing body. She had the necessary parts, but her butt was pretty much nonexistant and her boobs didn't tend to stay together. Yet here she was in the bed of a famous and very hot popstar with lingerie on herself and cleavage popping out of her bra. She didn't know what the hell kind of dream this was, but she wanted it to end now. She blamed Kira for this. If the blonde had stopped talking about One Direction, maybe Aaliyah wouldn't be spending the last hours of her birthday dreaming about being in Liam Payne's bed.

Liam was her least favorite member. In fact, she rather loathed him. To her he was just too much of a goody two shoes and Aaliyah preferred bad boys. Hence why if she had to choose, it would be Zayn. Yet this Liam seemed a lot more bad than he was in reality. Maybe she was just dreaming up a bad boy Liam because she thought he was hot and his personality didn't match.

"Why do you keep calling me baby?" Aaliyah finally asked.
Liam snorted and laid down next to her, "Am I not allowed to call my wife petnames?"

And that was when her world came tumbling down. Not only was she dreaming of sleeping with Liam Payne, she was dreaming about marrying him too.

It was beginning to not feel like a dream anymore as Aaliyah walked to the closet and pulled on her pants and her supposed husband sat on their shared bed with a frown.

"I don't understand." Liam mumbled as he looked at who he knew was his wife, but she didn't seem to think he was her husband.

"I'm your husband, Liyah. I've been your husband for a month. What's going on?" he continued as he stood up and reached out to grab her hand.

She jerked her hand out of his grasp and raised her voice, "I'm not your wife. Are you fucking insane?"

Aaliyah saw the tear fall down his cheek and she suddenly started feeling even worse.

He sat down on the bed and wiped the tear that slipped down his face.

"Hey," Aaliyah whispered, sitting down next to her supposed husband.

She continued, "Listen. I don't know what's going on because I swear last night I was celebrating my eighteenth birthday and you had long hair and definitely not this many tattoos."

Liam snorted, "Aaliyah, I've had tattoos for forever. You're twenty-five. I haven't had long hair since 2011."

"Yeah? That's this year." Aaliyah arched her eyebrow.
Liam sighed, "Babe, it's 2019. Did you hit your head?"

Aaliyah's eyes bugged out. There was no way that she was twenty-five and absolutely no possibility that it was 2019. She missed her graduation. Her wedding day. How could this even happen? What happened to her family? Where were her parents and siblings? What about Kira? How had she reacted to Aaliyah marrying her idol?

"Aaliyah?" he called for his wife again.

Aaliyah shook out of her confused state and gave a small smile, "Yeah, um. Maybe I should lie down for awhile."

Liam gave her a soft smile and got off the bed as she moved back into her spot and he pulled the cover back on top of her.

"I love you, princess." Liam said, pecking Aaliyah's forehead as she drifted back off into sleep.
