Saving old friends

The octolings threw sam and kenji on the ground, both were very bruised.

Meggy: W-what did they do to them?!

(Y/N): Those bastards...

SMG3 grabbed both inklings and threw them onto his small airship.

SMG3: Thanks, soon enough we'll try again at taking over the world! 

Desti: Should i get enzo and the others back?

SMG3: Sure, good luck finding them though. Not sure where they went when wario decided to do his thing.

(Y/N): Oh great, he's gonna try taking over the world again... that's always backfired. 

Meggy: Let's head onto the airship.

You threw a rock near desti, she heard the sound and went towards it, this gave you the chance to sneak behind SMG3, then you got onto the airship.

SMG3: Anyways, i better go. Thanks for kidnapping those two for more.

Desti: No problem. See ya.

SMG3 got into the airship and went up to the control room, then began piloting the ship and flew off.

You and meggy got out of hiding, and found sam and kenji tied up on the floor.

Meggy: Kenji! Sam!

Meggy released them, then they began to speak.

Kenji: Hey meggy...

Sam: We want to...apologize.

(Y/N): Hmm?

Kenji: We ditched you for a stupid reason, both of us were blind.

Sam: We are sorry for shouting at you, can we be friends again?

Meggy smiled, then hugged her friends.

(Y/N): You two did the right thing.

Kenji: So, i heard that this guy is your BF?

Meggy: Yup! We've had some crazy adventures ever since we got together.

(Y/N): Fighting illusions, going against a clone, and saving the mushroom kingdom from a god. What's next?

Sam: We gotta get out of here.

Kenji: There's some parachutes in here. Also just for a bit of payback...

Kenji set a ink bomb, and it began flashing, you and meggy put your parachutes on and jumped out of the airship.

SMG3: What the fuck is that?

SMG3 put autopilot on and went downstairs, the door was open, and an ink bomb was on the floor.

SMG3: Well, shit.

The ink bomb exploded, and the airship began going down.

Meggy: Ha ha!

Kenji: That's what you get!

(Y/N): Nice one!

You activated your parachute, so did meggy, kenji and sam.

Meggy: Wow, this view is so nice...

(Y/N): Inkopolis looks awesome from up here!

After a while, everyone landed on the ground, and other inklings came running up to you.

Inkling 1: Hey! Those are the inklings that got kidnapped!

Inkling 2: Did you save them?

(Y/N): Yup, me and meggy. Desti the octoling kidnapped the both of them, but we never got the answer for why she did.

Inkling 1: Well, pearl and marina will talk about this soon, good job you two!

Kenji: We'll see you later, meggy, we need to rest up.

Sam: See ya meggy.

Meggy: Bye guys!

Kenji and sam got through the crowd and went to their homes.

Meggy: Thanks for helping me save them, (Y/N)!

(Y/N): No problem meggy, i'll always help you out.

You kissed meggy on the lips, she kissed back and closed her eyes, you broke apart for air shortly afterwards.

Meggy: Let's head home.

You and meggy jumped into the pipe, and went back up into the castle.
