Your POV
I got home and put the groceries away. I pulled some chips out of the pantry and sat on my bed. My parents weren't home so I planned on watching Netflix and DVDs all day. I got the ELF DVD and opened the case. As the case clicked open, a small piece of paper fell out. I leaned over my bed and picked it up.
3109 3248, I read. A phone number? I flipped it over. The number had been written on a receipt. I could make out a few typed words. Tinsel, I read. OMG Dylan from the supermarket? I felt my cheeks heat up. He must've slipped it in before giving me my DVD. What should I do? Should I text him? Of course...wait...no. ARRRRGH. I don't know anything about boys, even less dating.
Unsure of what to do, I texted my best friend Lucy. This was her area of expertise. She'd been in 5 relationships this year. In her own words: I'm not a slut, I'm just picky.
