Chapter 2 ~ welcome to Snowdin

-Toriel's view-

" Casey..frisk? I made some pie for dinner and-agh!" I gasped to see both frisk and Casey gone, no no no. Where could they be!?

" Casey?! Frisk?! Where are you?!" I yelled out there names but to no response, I checked the bedrooms, the living room, the kitchen, the only place I've haven't checked is the...gasp! NO!

" Casey! Frisk! Come to mommy!" I screamed as I ran down the stairs and towards the exit doors of the ruins, it had some sort of lock in it.

" Casey!? Frisk?! Are you out there?! Please say something! Anything!" I felt my tears coming down my face, I ran back up the stairs and left my home towards the place where I've found them and cried myself to sleep.

" how silly of me, I couldn't even save one child." I whispered to myself as I laid down.

Meanwhile....

-Casey's view-

I can't believe that no good flower, I- AGH!

" FLOWEY!" I yelled but I felt a pull on my sweater to see frisk trying to calm me down from my frustration.

" it's okay cass will find a way, but for now let's go to snowdin that flowey was talking about." I nodded to frisk as we walk through the snowy forest, we were starting to get pretty hungry as we continued to was through the snow until we heard a stick break.

I turned around to see nothing but I was very weary about my surroundings, I held onto frisk's hand to guide her through the snow. I think we're being followed, we walked alittle faster until we reached to a gate.

I heard breathing coming from behind us, I am terrified but I cannot show fear.

" hey, don't you know how to greet a new pal?" I heard a deep voice said.

" turn around and shake my hand." Me and frisk turned around to see a dark short figure about my height and took out his hand, frisk shakes his hand only to hear a whoopee cushion on his hand as I started to laugh because of frisk face filled with confusion by the noise.

" ah the old whoopee cushion did the work ahaha! The name's sans, sans the skeleton." I nodded in response, as frisk smiled at him.

" it's nice to meet you, I'm frisk and this is Casey my oldest sister." I smiled and gave sans a small wave, I guess he's harmless...for now. I was about to reject but frisk beat me to it, I just didn't feel like I can trust strangers at this very moment after what flowey did to us.

" Casey, frisk, Welcome to snowdin. I could really use a tiny little FAVOR from the two of you if you don't mind at all...in fact.. I have an idea, go through this gate thingy." Frisk and I turned around to see the gate, I walk up to it.

" this one?" I asked him and nodded.

" yeah, go right through. My brother papyrus made the bars too wide to stop anyone." He said as we all walk through the gate and into a place that had a small station and a lamp.

I looked at sans to see him look ahead of me, so I turned around to see a tall skeleton walking up to us. I felt panic coming over me, as I turn around to look for frisk but sans stopped me.

" quickly, hide behind that continently shape lamp!" Sans said as l turned around to see frisk hiding behind the lamp, I quickly jumped inside the little stationary shack and ducked my head low.

" SANS!" I shut my eyes until I started over hearing from what they're talking about.

" what's up bro"
