From helping friends i learned you cant really say you know what they are going through because everyone goes through stuff differently and deal with it in there own way it can be the same it can be your sister but you guys are different people so you don't feel the same about the same thing and all you can trully do to help someone is just be a pear of ears to listen to them talk don't be there to judge them on their choses or there mistakes because i know damn well that you fuck up too and that would be fucked up for you to do to them just give them some thoughtful advice you have for them and let them have a voice and let them know that they have a right to feel the way they feel of think and maybe give them a hug and tell them you care and that if they need to talk they can come to you always because you wong tell anyone because then they might feel safe to come to you and then you guys might even get really close and trust me when you get close to them dont run because you get scared stay so they know that you will be there for them no matter what
