She looked over her corpse, one last time. Her white sheets now painted red. Her once tearful eyes now empty and unseeing. She didn't feel guilt, She felt pride.
~~~~~One week earlier~~~~
Yashita was used as a stress toy by those at Macington Highschool. Relentlessly the students bullied her. She was called names, pushed around, and even physically abused.
Her features were delicate, like that of a porcelain doll. So why were her classmates so focused on breaking her? Because she was different. She was bashful and had a heart of gold, unlike others in her school.
It was in the first moments of arriving to school, she was pushed to the ground. Her books and papers scattered across the ground.
"You stupid idiot get out of the way," sneered Palmer. He watched as she attempted to recollect her belongings. He picked up a couple of papers and tore them to pieces.
Yashita wondered why she was cursed to live as she did. Her questioned never answered, remained as marks on her skin. Scars travelled from her wrists to her elbows, varying in length and depth. Strips of pink and silver meeting pale skin. Bruises coated her skin, ugly colours ruining a once beautiful canvas.
Yashita was left alone at the first ring of the class bell. No one saw the true pain they'd caused. No one saw the deep sadness lingering in her eyes. Most importantly, no one saw the darkness that slowly encased her heart.
Alone Yashita remained, preferring her own company. Tears which has gathered in her eyes were kept from falling. Sobs wishing to overtake her were kept silent and inside. She would not let others see how weak she truly was. How pathetic she felt. How worthless her life was.
