Another day of school passed by for a certain petite, raven haired girl. Shiemi was new to Oak Hills University, as she had transferred from a high school in Japan. She unwrapped a small chocolate ball and popped it into her mouth as she walked towards her apartment. Shiemi didn't really pay attention to anything but her studies and the public garden space she has. It made her seem pretty unlikeable. She sighed and threw out the candy wrapper in the near garbage. To be honest, she wasn't a huge fan of people anyways. Coming off as unlikeable wasn't really a big deal to her.
Once she got to her apartment, she threw her bag in a deserted corner of her room. Shiemi changed into one of her gardening outfits, consisting of a pair of shorts and a tee-shirt, with an apron overtop. She quickly gathered her things and walked outside. Shiemi held out a hand to block the bright sun. She smiled and made her way to the small garden that was located a few minutes away from her home. Her face lightened up when she saw the bright colours. The girl wasted no time in getting to her routine of weeding the garden and watering the plants. She was so caught up in her work that she didn't even realize the girl kneeling down next to a small vegetable garden.
"U-Uhm... I like your flowers." The girl said quietly while staring at Shiemi. The raven haired girl looked over at the strangely familiar girl. She didn't say anything, but rather observed the girl. She had blonde hair that reached her shoulders and eyes that looked like chocolate. Shiemi got so lost in the others eyes, that she didn't end up speaking for a few minutes until the girl waved a hand in front of her face. Shiemi realized why the girl looked so familiar. They shared the same English class.
Shiemi spoke, "You're Arya, right?" She received a nod from the girl called Arya. "I can show you my different flowers, if you would like. Since you seemed to have taken a liking to them."
"I would love that." Arya smiled, a bright, warm smile. Shiemi proceeded to show the other girl her flowers. She told her the names she gave each plant, and the different types of flowers she had.
Some time passed, and the two girls exchanged phone numbers. Shiemi watched as Arya walked away from the garden. Her pale face was covered in a light shade of pink. Shiemi wasn't sure how she felt but she was happy that she had finally made a friend. She smiled as she walked back to her apartment.
