Tami's POV
And yer another boring day back on the forty seventh floor, me and Mina came down here because we heard of some master blacksmith, apparently the best in this game, they say if she has the right materials she can craft a Slayer classed weapon. We came her to get Mina a new weapon, that level fifty weapon is too low for her, and with Slayer being the second best class, it's our best bet since Mina is banning me from hunting event bosses as punishment for over reacting the other day with Mikaila. She deserved what she got.
"This is it!" she jumped up excitedly, she is level nine hundred now and that two bladed sword is way down on level fifty. For some reason she refuses to sell it after she gets a better one. Her weapon, her choice, I guess. We head inside and catch glimpse of a girl with short black hair and she looked like she was fourteen years old, but again, avatars. I walk up to her and ring a bell on the counter with Mina skipping happily behind me. The girl turned her head to me and smiled. "Your some new faces, welcome to my shop, I'm Yuri!"
"I'm Tami and this Mina. We're looking for a really powerful weapon." I said with a sudden serious face I use to discuss business. "H-how powerful?" she stuttered, guess I am intimidating. "Tami, your scaring the poor girl." Mina came up and put her old sword on the counter. "Something stronger than this." she said and Yuri checked the sword. "Wow, this is a level fifty sword. In that case, the best I can make is a level eighty Royal classed sword." I gasped. "But can't you-" she cut me off with a worried look.
"I can make Slayer classed weapons, all the way up to level ninety. But I don't have the materials, I need an ore that can only be found in the east volcano on floor fifty four. But it's guarded by yellow level seventy monsters that are mounted on level hundred fire dragons." she looked down at the floor. "Okay, we'll be back soon." I said cockily, these dragons don't stand a chance, I'm level eighteen hundred. "Be careful!" she yelled behind us as we walked out and got into the teleporter that was a big open dragon mouth, how ironic, we teleported to the fifty fourth floor and headed east to the volcano biome.
I yawned as we finally reached it. "Why didn't we just use your Dragon Steed?" Mina asked and my eyes widened. "Now you mention it? We haven't used it in so long I forgot about it!" I scolded her and she pouted. "Well sorry sir." she looked cute with that face. I smiled and laughed a little then turned around and ran into a cave on the largest of all the tall brown hot mountains. "This is too easy." I glared at the newly found yellow ore. Mina ran up to it and was about to grab it when it shattered and a bunch of dragons mounted by goblins appeared out of blue portals.
I smirked. "If you would, Mina." I told her and prepared my shield facing her. She smirked. "With pleasure." Mina then took a battle stance and slammed both her hands down on the ground while chanting. "Viribus naturae, virtutis Dei, et succendam omnem voluntatem meam manseritis in tenebris abyssum irent." A strong wind suddenly cam out of Mina and pushed all the enemies into newly formed spinning black holes that closed behind them. "Good job." I patted her back and she made a cute face.
The black holes opened up again and the loot fell out. The Goblins dropped the ore we were looking for it, while the dragons dropped eggs. I destroyed the eggs before they hatched while Mina picked up all the ore and we took it back to Yuri. "S-so many! S-so quickly too! Are you guys hackers or something?" she exclaimed gawking at the yellow colored diamonds that were sitting on the counter. "No but we do a lot of leveling." I said proudly. We waited as she went to the back room and crafted a the sword.
The entire weapon was a shiny fogy purple blade. It had gold plating separating the hilt and the blade, though the hilt was the same material as the blade, it was rounder and smoother so it wouldn't cut the user. From the hilt extended some more gold lining and at the bottom of the gilt was a tin gold line with a purple gem below it. It was a level ninety sword and Mina loved it. Girls. Purple is her favorite color after all. So I guess no judging. I smiled at her, she had the same class and level of weapon as mine.
"The Blade of the Dragon Queen. That's what it's called. You can have it for free since you got the main material yourself." She smiled at the happy Mina. "No. Take this, a thanks for making it." I handed her a small back containing seven thousand dragon scales. There been an update to the game, some items were renamed and made more powerful, including my sword, now called the Blade of Draco and the level went up. The classes also changed, but I'm not explaining that now. In the new update floor eighty to hundred has also been added finally, it was uncompleted and a new dungeon has been added on the first floor, it becomes bigger as we progress, it's filled with powerful monsters.
It's called "Dragon Lord's Treasure Room" It's rumored that if we get to floor eighty, you will be able to find Dragon Lord class weapons and armor there. I don't believe in rumors, me and Mina went back to floor sixty to rest in an inn. The monsters on the lower floors are growing stronger as we go higher too. That's unfair against the low level players who are too scared to leave a safe zone. But we will clear this game, if it's the last thing we do, literally.
A/N: Done! I'll make a chart below so you guys can understand how classes work. It's pretty simple actually, and the sword in the picture above the chapter is Mina's new sword.
Level 1 - 10 = Egg class
Level 11 - 20 = Baby class
Level 21 - 30 = Rebirth class
Level 31 - 40 = Survivor class
Level 41 - 50 = Hunter class
Level 51 - 60 = Breeder class
Level 61 - 70 = Undiscovered class
Level 71 - 80 = Royal class
Level 81 - 90 = Slayer class
Level 91 - 100 = Dragon Lord class
The highest level weapons and armor is Level 100, this chart is only for Weapons and Armor and only applies for this chapter and forward since the "update" for Dragon Slayer was added. Food items and those stuff are ranked differently.
