In the middle of the crowd.

I stood in the middle of the crowd,

Like always,

Watching people pass like wind,

Passing through me: unfazed, unaffected, unreal,

They were just another crowd of people.

Out of six million people in the world,

some million are males,

while some million are females,

and I pass them by everyday.

Out of those six million people,

Some of them are our family,

Some become friends,

some become enemies,

while some are neither.

Some we come to admire as crushes,

while some become our heartbreak,

these are the ones,

we meet during our lifetime.

I still pass through the endless crowd everyday,

Except for the ones I know, nobody bothers,

I think I have it all.

In this gray painted world,

one day I saw a flickering white light,

I have never seen before,

Curiousity piqued within me as I followed,

faster and faster,

along with the pacing of my heart,

that light was looking for me too.

It came into existence,

in form of two eyes,

it was a human,

funny I thought I met them all,

then why was this different from those all,

I looked into those eyes,

and found my reflection instead.

We stood in the middle of the crowd,

gazing at each other instead,

The crowd was stil moving unfazed, unaffected, unreal,

but everything seemed to come to a halt,

Is this what they call your better half?

Because I seem to have found my one.

Out of six million people in the world,

Out of two hundred people I've met,

some are my friends,

some are my enemies,

and among them,

one is my True Love.

Isn't this funny?

Out of these six million,

only one is made for you and only you,

then why the crowd?

This was meant as a game,

to shoot your aim,

they come sooner or later,

you just have to keep walking in the crowd,

till you find your mate,

Everyone has one,

the one they call as your 'Soulmate'
