Part Three:

INT. CCPD CRIME LAB

Julian is hunched over at his desk when everyone comes in.

BARRY:
Julian, there you are.

JOE:
Is he asleep?

CAITLIN:
(walks up to Julian)
No. He's passed out. I don't think he ever woke up in the dream world.

JOE:
So he's awake in the real world? I'm confused.

BARRY:
No, he's probably asleep just like all of us. Except, he didn't wake up here. Maybe he will later, I don't know?

JOE:
Cisco, help me grab Julian so we can get out of here.
(walks over to Julian)

CISCO:
Are you kidding me? I'm not carrying Savitar's little minion around a dream world!
(scoffs, steps back)

BARRY:
Guys, I don't have my powers here. None of us do, so this is a team effort.

CISCO:
Fine, fine.
(helps pick up Julian)
Wait, so our only hope out of this world is Wally? I wonder if he's figured out what's going on..

BARRY:
Wally's a smart kid. But for now, we need to try to find out how to get out of here. Anyone have any ideas?

CAITLIN:
So we're trapped in a dream world with the Music Meister, an unaware HR, and dead people.
What are we supposed to do?

CISCO:
That's it.. This is like ghostbusters!
(grunts, moves Julian over)
Who we gonna call?

BARRY:
The Music Meister.

MUSIC MEISTER:
(appears)
Yes! I think you have finally figured out how I work!
(claps)

CISCO:
Why are we really here? Or better yet, why did you bring us here?

BARRY:
Who put you up to this?

MUSIC MEISTER:
Those are not the questions you should be asking!
(shakes head, laughs)

CISCO:
Getting major creeps, here man. Stop doin' that.

IRIS:
Barry-

BARRY:
You mentioned Captain Cold. I need to find him.

JOE:
You're not going anywhere without the rest of us, Bar.
(walks over to Barry, dragging Julian)

CISCO:
Yeah, Barry.
(struggling to carry Julian)

BARRY:
Guys, come on. This is all my fault, I brought us all here, i'll get us out.

MUSIC MEISTER:
Actually, I brought you here. You gotta work together, Barry, if you want to get out alive. You all need to find Captain Cold.
(points at door)
And don't forget, if you're asked to sing, sing.

BARRY;
(sigh)

JOE:
Come on, everyone, let's go.

(follows everyone out the door)

CUT TO:

INT. CCPD STAIRS - DAY

LEONARD SNART, looking for Barry.

SNART:
There you are, Barry. I see you brought your crew.
(evil smile)

BARRY:
(steps in front of everyone, stops)
What do you want, Snart?

CISCO:
Wait, this is all still a dream, right? This seems like it could just be a distraction while something happens in the real world.

CAITLIN:
(shrugs shoulders)

SNART:
Oh Barry, i'm so glad you made it. You have no-
(points at everyone)
-idea.

BARRY:
We didn't exactly have a choice, did we?

SNART:
True. Very true.
(inhales, smiles)

JOE:
What is this all about? You're not even real, Snart!
(looks curiously)

SNART:
You're right.
(steps closer)
This is all a dream that the Music Meister pulled you into. He chose me to be the one to teach you a dire point.
(tilts head)

BARRY:
What point?

SNART:
That's for me to know and you to find out, Flash.
(pulls out cold gun, loads it)
If you make it out of here alive.

IRIS:
Barry, watch out!

BARRY:
(ducks down)

JOE:
Put the gun down, Snart!
(lays Julian on the ground, points gun)

SNART:
No can do, boys. This gun and I are inseparable- and unstoppable. I'd put down the pistol.
(points gun at Barry, smiles)

CISCO:
(ducking behind Joe)
I thought the dude had something to tell us! Why is he shootin'?

BARRY:
It's me you want, Snart. Leave them all alone!
(steps closer to Snart)

SNART:
Come with me, Barry. There's something you need to see.

BARRY:
(walks up to Snart)
Fine, just leave them alone.

SNART:
Grand.
(smiles)

JOE:
Barry, you go with him, you could die in real life!
(points gun at Snart again)

BARRY:
I need to do this-
(starts walking away, Snart holding onto his jacket)
Just stay there, i'll be right-

JOE:
(fires gun at Snart 2 times)
Get back, Barry!

IRIS:
(screams)

BARRY:
(tries to grab Snart before he falls)
Snart? Joe why did you-

CAITLIN:
(runs over to Snart)

JOE:
(looks shocked, drops gun)
Barry, I-you weren't safe.

BARRY:
He's not even real, Joe!

JOE:
He was putting you in danger, Barry. If something went wrong and we weren't with you, you would have died!

BARRY:
I-

SNART:
(whispering)
Not all villainsvillians are evil people, Barry. We all have one common goal we are working towards- just like you

SNART:
We all have enemies, fears and dreams too.
(coughs)
Not everyone is perfect like you Barry Allen- but everyone is worth it.
(closes eyes)

CISCO:
Well, dead Snart is officially dead again. He was kind of our only key to getting out of here!

BARRY:
No, he wasn't.

JOE:
(hugs Iris)

BARRY:
I think I figured out what the point of this all is. Lately I haven't been treating people right. And i realize now that no matter what someone does, they're still important people.

IRIS:
That makes sense.

CISCO:
Are you sure that's what Captain Cold was gonna tell you as he led you away to that room?
(shakes finger)

JULIAN:
That's not what the point of this is at all, Barry.

CAITLIN:
Julian! You're awake, are you okay?

JULIAN:
No. and we need to get out of CCPD fast-

BARRY:
What? How are you even awake?
(looks around)

JULIAN:
(sitting up)
We need to get out of this dream. It's all a distraction-

CISCO:
Uh, from what?

JULIAN:
The bloody Music Meister.
(brushes off)
He trapped us here and made us think we need to be here- but time's running out, Barry. He's back in our world, wreaking havoc.
