Laura: Y-You like him?

Maia:(nods) He's so cute

Laura: How can you like him though? Just bc he saved you from falling a few feet?

Maia: He was courageous and heroic Laur. Geez (goes upstairs)

Laura:(runs her hand through her hair in frustration) Oh my god

Ellen:(walks in) Laura... I heard

Laura:(Sighs) What am I gonna do? I can't betray her

Ellen: I think you should date Ross

Laura: Really?

Ellen:(nods) Love is everything. I bet your sister will fall for another guy soon enough. You know her

Laura:(smiles) Yeah I guess

Ellen: Don't freak out over this Laura, it's not good

Laura:(nods) Thanks mom

Ellen: No problem. Now help me cook dinner

Laura:(smiles and walks in the kitchen with Ellen) Thanks mom, that's really gonna help me

Ellen: No problem. I'll cover for you

Laura:(nods) Thanks mom

The Next Day

Laura & Maia:(walks downstairs to the kitchen)

Laura:(wearing ripped skinny jeans, a red tank top, a pink high school jacket and black wedges) Maia, why are you wearing that?

Maia:(wearing cuffed shorts, a nice white blouse that's sort of see through and baggy also with heels) What? It's how I dress

Laura: Are you trying to impress Ross?

Maia: Who?

Laura:(rolls her eyes) The blonde guy who saved you

Maia: That's his name?

Laura: You don't even know his name yet you like him

Maia: Whatever, let's get to school

Laura: You go ahead. I'm gonna walk

Maia: You sure?

Laura:(nods) Yeah

Maia:(nods) Alright then (walks out and drives out in her car)

Laura:(takes a deep breathe and calls Ross)

Ross: Hello?

Laura:(smiles at his morning voice) Hey sleepyhead, can you pick me up?

Ross: Sure, where's Maia though?

Laura:(sighs) About her... I got to talk to you about that

Ross: Alright then. I'll be there in less then 10 minutes

Laura: Alright

Ross: Cya

Laura: Bye (hangs up and takes a deep breathe)

Ellen: You gonna tell him?

Laura:(jumps) I thought you were at work

Ellen: I'm gonna leave soon

Laura: Should I tell him? I don't know

Ellen: I think you should

Laura: But what if something happens?

Ellen:(shrugs) I don't know sweetie (kisses her cheek) I g2g, bye

Laura: Bye mom
