The payphone

I was sitting in the back of my mom's car watching the tree's and the sea as we drove by it.

'Why did we had to move again mom?' I sighed and looked at my brother who was now in tears.
'Oli everything is gonna be okay' I said petting his head.
He pushed my hand away and turned to the window.
'Mom?' I coughed waking her up from her deep thoughts.

'What was it Liv?' She was not taking her eyes off the road, 'well, oli asked something' I mumbled 'I asked' he tried to talk again but the car suddenly pulled over strongly.

I looked at the front window seeing a few dudes standing there with they're van. My mom was nervous as always. 'I'll got out to them mama' I say getting out of the car.

I heard my mom mumbling something but I wasn't sure at all.
'Are you all good?' I wondered towards the boys who now was all staring at me. One of them smiled a charming smile and nodded 'yes darling we are!'

I looked at they're van 'Ain't that stuck?' I raised my eyebrow, 'my van is fine!' A blonde hair dude ran towards the van giving it a kiss.
I chuckled 'I spouse'.

I was about to get into the car as I heard a scream 'what's your name darling?' I smiled 'LIV' I replied getting into the car again.

We were all set up at our new home in London.
And my mom as usual was working straight when we got there.
'Oli honey do you want me to make you dinner?' I ask Oli as I see him watching the TV.
'I'd love that' he replied not taking his face off the screen.

I nodded 'I'll go down to the market then' I quietly said. Leaving the apartment.

I was putting some things I needed in my shopping bag as I ran into someone.
'Ouch' I mumbled trying to focus my vision 'pardon me!' A deep male voice said and helped me up.

I focused my vision and saw a blonde dude, 'that's okay' I chuckled as he smirked 'Noah' he said checking me out. 'Liv' I awkwardly said.

'You new Liv?' He asked while we both were taking things we needed as I nodded 'Yes, me and my family just moved here'

'Are you a high schooler?' He asked helping me to get a bottle of water down. I nodded '12 grade' I replied. 'Oh cool I actually in the same grade as well!' I chuckled 'I can tour you tomorrow also it's an exciting day!'
I raised my eyebrow 'and why is that?'

Noah looked at me full of excitement, 'a rock band is arriving to play in school' I raised my eyebrow 'a rock band?' He nodded 'they are new but I heard they had a good song' I studied his face then nodded.
'Sure you can tour me tomorrow'

His eyes opened up. 'Excellent come to here again tomorrow morning!'.

It was late. My mom didn't came back home.
I knew Oli was pretending to be asleep he always does that. He waits till our mom gets home but sometimes she never does.

I was sitting on the couch looking at the wall clock as I was felling my eyes closing.
I stood up sighing.

I was down stairs near a pay phone, I saw he was used so I decided to wait near it on a bench.
I was sitting and waiting as I hear screams near the payphone ,
'mama, what do you want me to do I changed it What now?'

'Bloody hell talk to him I have no where to stay'

'No i won't bother them mama'
'Fine then!'

He crushed the phone and turned around, then I realized it was the same dude from earlier.

'Are you alright?' I asked walking towards him slowly, he raised his head confused.

'Yea, I spouse' he replied.
I looked over to the pay phone 'oh fuck it'
I handed him my cash.
As he was still looking at me confused. 'I spouse you'll need it more then me' he smiled but didn't take the cash from my hand.

'Freddie' he said still smiling at me.
'Liv' I smirked.
'Yea, I remember' he muttered.
'So Liv darling why are you out here this late' he asked me looking interested.

'I spouse my mom is avoiding us, she's not home yet and my little brother is worried sick'
I then realized I left Oli alone.

'Freddie come with me' I mumbled as he looked at me confused but followed me.

We entered my apartment, as I saw Oli sitting on the couch crying.
'Oli everything is okay' I ran towards him hugging him.
'No mama is not home mama is not home!' He replied sobbing into my chest.

'She'll come back  I promise you' I whispered petting his hair. As he nodded 'now go back to sleep'
I pushed him towards his bedroom as he looked confused on Freddie.

'Liv who's this?' I looked at Freddie smiling 'he's my friend he will stay for a while okay?' Oli nodded smiling 'I never saw Liv like that you make her happy' he said walking towards his room.

I awkwardly smiled offering Freddie a glass of water
'Thank you dear' he smiled.
I lead him to the kitchen and put plates on the table.

'You need to eat' I mumbled putting leftovers on his plate.
'I will go and put sheets on my bed for you to sleep there' 'oh no it's okay' he said standing up.

'I can't stay here' I nodded chuckling 'of course you can, I'll stay on the coach'
'No really I don't want you to sleep on the coach let me' I rolled my eyes and looked at him.

'Fine then we'll both sleep on the bed' I said as he looked at me shocked.

I was standing in the bathroom, looking at myself. and thinking about the stranger in my house.

Yet he was a stranger but yet I felt close to him. There was something about him.

I entered my bedroom looking at Freddie just taking his shirt off , as I giggled.

'Oh Liv' he smiled getting onto the bed.
'So Freddie, I have school tomorrow if you are gonna stay here it's okay but if you are gonna head out just meet me by my school so we can return here'

I smiled , as his face expression changed.

'School?' I nodded 'last grade' he squeezed his eyes. 'Okay darling I'll wait for you' I smiled. 'Tomorrow a nice guy I met said there's a band in my school wanna come' I smiled looking at him.

'What band?' He asked smirking. 'I have no idea he said they are new but they have a good song' he nodded ' I see, I think I'll pass darling' , I turned around and looked at him.

'Whyyyy' I whined he smiled taking the hair out of my face, 'I am working my dear' he said smiling. As we hear the front door crushing.

'Stay here' I whispered getting out of the bed.
I went towards the living room slowly, just to see my mom's boyfriend standing there with a few of his friends. 'Miles how did you' I mumbled.
'How did I what? Found  you?' He screamed at me.

'Oli is sleeping' I whispered trying to calm him down.
'You and your little mom thought you could escape me?' He started walking towards me.

'Miles please' I whispered looking at the floor.
'Is everything alright here?' I heard Freddie's voice behind me.

Miles laughed. 'So your mom isn't home and you bring a boy over?'
'I can explain just please stay quiet' I mumbled.

'Whatever just give and the boys some drinks'
He walked away. Giving Freddie an annoyed look.

I went towards the kitchen and took out some glasses.
'Let me do it' I hear Freddie's soft voice behind me.

'No it's okay' I say while I take out of the fridge a bottle of champagne shaking.

'Liv you are shaking let me do it' I put the champagne on the counter and try to open it.

'Liv' Freddie said again sounding concerned.
'Liv let me do it it's okay' he said giving me a bear hug. As I sobbed into his naked chest.

'Hey it's okay darling' he whispered, 'go to your room , you don't want to be late for your first day don't ya?' He looked at me smiling.

I nodded 'thank you' he smiled 'of course!'
'Now go!' He pushed me as I giggled.
