*Daniel was born on February 19, 1975 in Vancouver.
*He is a Canadian drummer, percussionist, and producer. He is the current drummer of Nickelback and has previously worked with 3 Doors Down.
*He also works with the band Suspect and the instrumental fusion band Martone.
*Daniel auditioned for guitarist David Martone, who was looking to start an instrumental fusion band. The band went by the name 'Martone'.
*In the Summer of 2002, Daniel auditioned for the drummer of 3 Doors Down. While with them, he recorded the album Seventeen Days and the live album Another 700 Miles. While with them, he toured 14 countries and had multiple TV appearances.
*In January 2005 he left 3 Doors Down to join Nickelback.
*While he was with Nickelback, he also appeared on albums and performed with Theory of a Deadman, Bo Bice, Martone, Thornley, Faber Drive and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
*On October 21, 2007, James Stephen Hart announced that he was recording drum tracks for his new band, Burn Halo.
