"SOO-YOUNG-SSI!!!" My mother screamed. "YOUR PHONE IS RINGING!!!!" She yelled again, only louder than last time.
"Then answer it!!" I shouted back, currently busy babysitting my siblings and their friends. I heard her sigh before reluctantly picking up my phone. "Ne?" My mother asked, sounding a little annoyed. She went silent for a little bit before squealing and cheering.
"Soo-young! I never knew you had a boyfriend!" She chirped. My face went red as I realized who was on the other end. I bounced up and ran to grab my phone. "From now on, you watch the babies." I stated while running to my room with my phone in my hands.
"Aigoo, your eomma hasn't changed a bit has she?" Jimin stated shyly. I blushed even more as he sighed. "What did she call me again?" He asked me, already knowing the answer. "Aiish, pabo. She said that you were my boyfriend." I teased him. He giggled upon hearing my playfulness and I just smiled.
"How much longer are you gonna be gone?" I asked him, getting really inpatient for the day he comes back home. He sighed and clicked his tongue. "I..really don't know Soo-Young..if I knew I would have told you already." He stated in a sad tone. My heart sank and I teared up a little bit, me and Jimin have been friends for years and his sudden disappearance made me sad for a long while. Hell, I'm still sad now.
"Soo-Young-ssi don't cry! Everything will be alright." Jimin said in a peaceful tone. A few tears escaped my eyes and before I knew it I was balling. "Ani! It's not alright! I'm afraid that I'll never see you again and that you'll forget me!!" I wailed. Jimin went silent for a few seconds before responding.
"Soo-Young. I will never forget you. Even if you wanted me to, I still wouldn't." He said in a deep tone. My tears slowed down and I was wiping my face with my sleeve. "Alright. But you should probably get back to work." I stated with a raspy tone. He agreed and we both hung up.
