Alas, how man has become selfish enough to divert his attention wholly upon himself and neglect the other aspects of nature.

The madness which occurs below in the sea, which is the loftiest of all places, full of life and breath taking scenes to witness! Poor wretched animals are freely dwelling therein, and unwillingly consuming man-made pollutants, all because of our folly and ignorance. We blame the plastics, but we are the ones to truly blame, for all elements are present on this earth, but how we utilise them is our own conscious decision. It is of no use to blame others, otherwise we will perpetually blame each other and further divert our attention from the problem, we must take the initiative and cooperate together to prevent such poor mannered practises from perpetuating and attempt to reconcile this artificial mess which we have created.

Though the sea may be seemingly petty and full of mere fish, as the ordinary saying goes: "There's plenty of fish in the sea"

There too is an abundance of humans on this planet as well, all living organisms are apart of the universal plan and are subject to feelings, fish also have the blessed boon of giving life just as we do! And yet, we think that we are far superior and greater in intelligence than these beloved creatures, but they possess the ability to live solely in the present and enjoy their freedom, they are liberated from all bondage, and yet we try to interfere with it by being so careless and negligent.

I too am to blame for the ignorance I once had, disposing of plastic bags without care, not knowing the significant effects it may provoke.

This world has been robbed of it's resources enough, the sea shall not be next. We would much rather be playing games and doing as we please than focusing on the problems of the present day, we ought to think of the future and prolong all life so that we may keep it intact for the future generations yet to come. The water quality of the sea has become so poor, and the great barrier reef is decaying at an distressing rate. All of these problems have only worsened and become a real issue in the past 100 years or so, which portrays that our generation is one to blame, poor mother nature is suffering consequences from her own creation. We have access to a vast range of technology, namely phones, computers, e-books, with more information and accessibility to resources than ever before in history, and yet we cannot even solve the most primitive problems of the day, man is no longer in tune with nature, his bookshelf consists of games and not books and knowledge which could be for the betterment of the sea and this planet.
