The DASH Diet is mainly a plant-based diet but is also supportive of any meat eaters out there. It can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol, have a lower risk of several types of cancer, heart disease, stroke, heart failure, kidney stones, reduced risk of developing diabetes, can slow the progression of kidney disease, and now is associated with reduced risk of depression. Yes, you read that, that's a lot of diseases! This lovely diet is extremely healthy. Not only that, it makes you look younger!
