A/N: So while the first chapter was my OLD writing this will be some of my newer stuff. I would also like to say that the form of writing I am using is not exactly my forte'. So I didn't like the original version of this so here is the improved one. Enjoy the short but important  chapter! This is Jason's dad's Armor above.

Jason wandered around the room running his hands along the walls feeling each rune carved into the surface. He closed his eyes and took a long, slow, deep breath, analyzing each smell and committing it to memory. Smiling he thought back to his life on earth when he was younger....

Jason ran through the woods, the pine needle strewn dirt flowing beneath his feet as he ran. Ahead of him his dads black leather jacket flapping behind him just out of reach of his grasping hands. Suddenly his dad spun and lifted him up in the air spinning him around until the world was nothing but a blur of greens, browns, and yellows. Jason and his dad landed on the flat on their back breathless from the pure laughter spilling from their mouths. His dad turned to him and winked conspiringly at Jason as scooted closer to him.

"You wanna know a secret little man?" He whispered. Jason nodded and scooted closer until their shoulders touched. His father leaned close before murmuring. "When you feel like your're forgetting where you came from, or who you are just close your eyes. Feel the world around you. Breath it in. Sense it in your bones. You'll remember then." Jason nodded. His father rolled to his feet with practiced ease and lifted Jason up on his hip. As they walk his father told him two last things. "Don't forget me buddy, and remember.....listen inside. Don't just listen to your instincts but your heart too."

Later that night Jason heard engines outside his window and he knew that he wasn't supposed to look but......something inside told him to. He lifted his head to his dad standing on the lawn in armor, a helmet tucked under one arm, standing next to a.....spaceship. His dad walked forward and clapped hands with a rock like being, before waving him on. Turning Jason's dad met his eyes and saluted sadly tears shining in his eyes. Jason lifted his window and grabbed a hard square if shiny black rock on a chain. He made for his dad yesterday and if you turned it just right a picture of his family would pop out and threw it as hard as he could to his dad who caught it and turned before running onto the ship just as it began to move. The door closing just in time for it to launch straight up.

....

So yeah just a short little chapter on his past.
